Arts District Food Tour in Richmond
US$62.54
Overview
Discover Richmond’s food, history and culture on this guided, 2.5-hour walking tour through the city’s recently established Arts District. Try food tastings from a variety of local restaurants and cafes. Visit establishments such as Lift Coffee Shop and Cafe, Tarrant's Cafe, Lucca Enoteca, Mama J's, J KOGI, the Cultured Swine and Pop's Market on Grace. Along the way, sample coal-fired pizzas, Korean street eats, southern soul food and more.
What to Expect
Meet and greet a knowledgeable local foodie/guide at Lift Coffee Shop and Cafe on West Broad Street in Richmond. Then proceed through the city’s popular Arts District, featuring some of the best galleries, restaurants and businesses Richmond has to offer. This region features the historic Jackson Ward neighborhood, the Broad Street Commercial Historic District and the Grace Street Commercial Historic District.

The focus for this tour will be on the restaurants and cafes, of course.

Some of the restaurants to visit could include the upscale pharmacy turned restaurant Tarrant's Cafe, offering a variety of delicious American meals; Lucca Enoteca pizzeria; the aforementioned Lift Coffee Shop and Café, a canopied cafe with sidewalk seats serving breakfast, sandwiches, salads and box lunches; Mama J's Kitchen, serving soul food and Southern fare; J KOGI, a Korean restaurant; the Cultured Swine, a food cart turned brick and mortar establishment and Pop's Market on Grace, a café, deli and bakery.
