Overview

This half-day tour gives you an insider's look at the Boeing factory, where airplanes are designed and built. During the trip, take a guided tour of the facilities with a small group of other curious travelers and learn about the Boeing 747, 757, 767, 777, and 787 Dreamliner planes in production. You’ll also get to wander through the Future of Flight Aviation Center and its interactive exhibits.

What to Expect

Begin your Boeing tour with convenient pickup at your downtown Seattle hotel. Climb into a comfortable vehicle for the ride to the factory, about 25 minutes away.

As you travel, listen to commentary on Seattle and Boeing's history in the city, relax, and leave the driving to an expert.

Explore the Aviation Center Gallery upon arrival; this huge space features displays and exhibits to see before your official tour. Meet the Boeing representative, who will show you the inner workings of the assembly plant.

Watch a short film that shows how these enormous planes are constructed, from start to finish, and see each model the company makes in different stages of construction. The tour's last stop is the Future of Flight Aviation Center, which allows you to try a flight simulator build a plane in an interactive exhibit.

Return to Seattle for hotel drop-off at the end of your tour.

Boeing Tour on 26/11

All I can say is that it was first rate and much of that was down to our guide who was both amusing and informative. I had wanted to do this tour for a while so am glad that I have finally done it.

Boeing tour

Got picked up right near our downtown hotel and returned. Very interesting tour and well worth the cost. I also liked the fact that most of the work done is by humans and not machines.

Above answers may be incorrect. We went on a Saturday and no work was going on but they still offer the full number of tours. Just don't book on Sat or Sun if you want to see workers. Frankly, I thought it better with no... More
