Overview
Experience the natural beauty of Mt Rainier on this 10-hour, guided, small-group nature tour from Seattle. Take a scenic trip from Seattle to Mt Rainier, the highest mountain in the state of Washington and one of the tallest in the lower 48 states. Enjoy the magnificent views and natural wonders — from wildflowers to waterfalls — while hiking or snowshoeing through Mt Rainier National Park. Coffee and pastries for breakfast, plus snacks and a picnic lunch with wine are included. Hotel pickup and drop-off is provided.
What to Expect
At 14,410 feet above sea level, beautiful and majestic Mt Rainier is an icon in the Washington landscape — an active volcano and the most glaciated peak in the United States, creating six major rivers. It is, in a word — breathtaking — to look at.
This day trip nature tour to hike and/or snowshoe around Mt Rainier National Park begins with a Seattle hotel pickup followed by a scenic 2-hour drive to the park in a luxury vehicle. Upon arrival, enjoy Seattle coffee and pastries before starting the trek along the Nisqually Vista Trail. Be on the lookout for wildlife wandering around the mountain at any time. Binoculars are provided to get a closer look.
This all-day Mt Rainier tour includes frequent stops to take pictures and enjoy light snacks. A picnic lunch of locally sourced, organic foods (grilled chicken or salmon, sandwich or wrap, with a grain or green salad and regional wine, water or soda) is also provided midday.
At the end of the day, it’s back down the mountain to take a relaxing return trip to Seattle.

Exceeded Expectations / A Better Value for your Money...

Marmot at first sight

I wear clothing branded with Marmot, but have never been sure quite what that was. So a particular thrill on this day tour from Seattle to Mt Rainier was to see not one, but two marmots frolicking in the grass beside a stream. The whole...More

Greetings, Alan, and thank you for the kind feedback! As you now likely know, our whole team is a bunch of nature nerds (in the best sense possible). I can't tell you how excited we are that someone loves Marmots like we do! Thanks for...More

Yes, you do, or we did anyway, stop at Narada. I think that may be where we had our lunch.

We did stop at paradise but each trip is dependent on the weather conditions & what the group wants to do. Generally, I would say if you ask to stop there -- the guide will. As to hiking -- it's all up to you. I had... More
