Itinerary
The 5-hour Kenai Fjords wildlife cruise departs daily at 12pm and returns at 5pm and travels approximately 55 miles round-trip along the rugged coastline of Resurrection Bay.

If you've chosen the buffet, fifteen minutes into the cruise we will begin serving the Alaska salmon and prime rib meal that is freshly prepared on board. While you enjoy our cruising restaurant service you'll be able to sit at your reserved seat inside the heated cabin and not miss out on any of the beautiful scenery.

Several alpine glaciers nestled high in the mountains surrounding Resurrection Bay can be seen along the route if the weather cooperates. You'll also have the chance to see the impressive Bear Glacier, a piedmont glacier and the largest glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park.

As you approach the end of Resurrection Bay you will visit Cape Resurrection, home to Steller sea lions and thousands of nesting seabirds. The captain will stop the boat close to the sea lion colonies and seabird rookeries, providing excellent photo opportunities. Along the route you'll have the chance to see abundant wildlife such as whales, sea otters, Dall’s porpoises, eagles, mountain goats and many types of seabirds.

A National Park Ranger will provide a detailed narrative on the history, ecology, geology and wildlife in the area.

I will start by saying they have the large group tour down. Big, nice boats and they know the area well. I however, did not like the tour much for a few reasons: Guides are also the boat drivers and are behind glass and not...More

Excellent boat tour

Really lovely boat tour. The crew was unbelievably pleasant, boat was clean, and food was good. We had a rare sunny, blue sky day with calm waters. However, be forewarned, when you leave the bay and round the point out into the ocean, the boat...More

We called the day of the tour and ordered our tickets. There were 8 people in our group and we were not all together at the time we ordered. 4 of us ordered at the same time while the rest ordered individually. Because of this...More

Booked 6 hour cruise with lunch for August 11 and was one of the best traveling experience we’ve had. Family of 4 with 2 college kids. First of all, was so impressed with boat and captain. (John). Impeccably clean boat, and I boat a lot....More

Loved this Alaska experience

Highly recommend. Saw such incredible scenery and sea life. They slow the ship down and give you time to take it all in as you come across things. We saw humpback whales, killer whales, sea lions, otters, bald eagles, gulls, puffins, cormorants and other birds...More
