Itinerary

The day begins with convenient pickup at your downtown New Orleans hotel in an air-conditioned minibus to keep you comfortable in the thick southern heat. Head first to the French Quarter, the historic heart of the city, for a tour of landmarks such as Jackson Square, the Cabildo, and French Market.

Drive down tree-lined boulevards past the stately Creole mansions of the Garden District before turning toward the shores of Lake Pontchartrain and the 17th Street Canal, the spot where devastating floodwaters spilled into the city after Hurricane Katrina. Cruise through the leafy expanse of City Park, and end the tour with a look at some of New Orleans’ “Cities of the Dead”—graveyards filled with elaborate above-ground tombs.

Your tour ends at the original pickup location.

This was awesome! It was a large comfy coach bus, but Gary drove and interacted as if it was only a couple of us, making it feel like a intimate tour, even though there were alot more of us (he was awesome!)! He was full...More

A little disappointed

This tour started late and it started off with them arguing by radio while on the bus. They seemed to be a little under prepared. Once the tour started we saw some cool sites, but it was hard to look at the sites and try...More

I did the 3-hour city tour which was great mainly due to the tour guide Oreal (hope that's spelt correctly!). She was knowledgeable, funny and spoke enough but not too much, which is quite a skill. Have done many of these city tours in the...More
