A guided tour of New Orleans makes it easy for time-strapped travelers to visit the city’s distinct enclaves in just a matter of hours. Cruise through five New Orleans neighborhoods in the comfort of an air-conditioned minibus, including less-frequented areas such as the Warehouse District and Faubourg Treme for a richer understanding of the city's culture. This tour includes guided commentary and hotel pickup and drop-off.
What to Expect
Begin your tour with pickup from your downtown or French Quarter hotel prior to your selected departure time. In an air-conditioned minibus, breeze past the mansions of Esplanade Avenue en route to City Park. Stop briefly to pick up coffee and beignets (own expense), and walk around the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden before heading past the Ninth Ward, a neighborhood rich in innovations after devastation from Hurricane Katrina.

Continue through the famous Garden District, known for its mansion-lined boulevards, and onward to the Warehouse District and Faubourg Treme—a historical neighborhood well off the beaten tourist track.

After a brief stop at Metairie Cemetery, your tour concludes with hotel drop-off.

He was flexible and well-informed about current, historical, and Hurricane Katrina circumstances and the fall-out following the flood and the rebuilding. We’d take another tour with him...More
