Overview
This 2-hour walking tour through one of New York’s trendiest neighborhoods showcases Williamsburg, Brooklyn’s history, as well as its influence on contemporary culture. Please note: this provides an overview of basic history - it is not a detailed historical tour. An insider guide helps travelers uncover the borough’s trends and traditions—from hip local businesses to the urban street art scene. Venture past historical buildings, trendy boutiques and quiet cafes on a tour of this popular neighborhood with a seriously laid-back vibe. Then be sure to capture the iconic Manhattan skyline from the scenic Brooklyn waterfront.
What to Expect
Join your guide on the streets of Williamsburg and get ready to explore one of Brooklyn’s most popular neighborhoods. Check out innovative boutiques, colorful street art as you dive into the local scene.
Learn how the borough started as a hub for immigration and later became known for its highly skilled factory workers. Gain a deeper understanding of Brooklyn’s transformation in recent years and get the scoop on the Mysterious Staring Artist and the Billion Dollar Sugar Scheme.
You’ll get an inside look at the iconic architecture, restored artists lofts, massive murals and one-of-a-kind boutiques, while getting tips on the neighborhood’s best restaurants and bars. Finish with spectacular city views of the Manhattan Skyline from across the East River before heading back to the starting point of the tour.

Really enjoyed the tour. We got to find out about the architecture, street art and development of Brooklyn. And try chocolate! Jeff was informative and knowledgeable. Plenty of great photo opportunities too.

Great experience

Knowledgeable guide (Jeff), interesting facts, stop as nice local point. We went on a freezing day and the guide well adjusted the tour to the weather by taking more indoor stops
