Overview

Cruise the Savannah riverfront on a boat tour that fits your interests and schedule. From brunch to lunch to dinner and even sunset and sightseeing cruises, there is a cruise for every traveler. Some tours are fully narrated, while others focus on the sights as they drift by. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, as are food and drinks (included on some cruises), with a cash bar available.

What to Expect

Meet about 30 to 60 minutes before your cruise time to exchange your voucher at the Savannah Riverboat Ticket Office at 9 East River Street.

There are multiple cruise options on the Savannah River Queen available. Depending on your choice, you will embark on a lunch cruise, brunch cruise, dinner cruise, sunset cruise, sightseeing cruise, party cruise, or gospel cruise.

Once boarded, choose your seat, either heading indoors to the climate-controlled dining and observation deck, or outdoors to the upper deck for sunbathing. On most tours, you’ll hear city history and fun facts about Savannah as you float and take in the sights, although a few tours do not include narration.

Iced tea, lemonade, soft drinks, or coffee are included with all dining cruises, and some cruises feature live entertainment. All cruises include an open bar.

Your boat returns to the original departure point at the end of your cruise.

New Year's Eve Gala!

On paper, the New Year's Eve Gala sounded AMAZING! Cocktail attire, dining (surf and turf), dancing, merry making. They kept true to the cocktail attire, some folks were dressed in Tux and Evening Gowns, some others not so much. There were several levels of the...More

Dinner cruise was like being trapped at a bad reception.

Ironically I find myself giving the exact advice I didn't take. The dinner cruise (after dark) is a sad waste. There's so much to see, but you can't see it. The city lights are only visible for a short part of the trip then it's...More

Nice cruise of the Savannah River and the river front.

We took the Savannah on Christmas Eve. It was a little chilly but the narrated cruise was very informative. The views of the harbor are interesting views of Old Fort Jackson which dates back over 200 years ago.
