What to Expect
This Civil War walking tour of Savannah meets in the city’s Historic District. Once you get acquainted with your guide and group, set off on foot to explore. Your guide takes you to some of the most important buildings from the 1860s and tells tales of the city’s involvement in the war. Hear about civilians who went through this difficult time and the battles that took place nearby. Also, visit some of the generals' houses, and see where Robert E. Lee went in Savannah during his visits to the city. Your tour ends at Colonial Park Cemetery.
