Take this Civil War walking tour and let a guide lead the way down areas of the Historic District, explaining facts that will help you gain a better understanding of the city’s involvement.
What to Expect
This Civil War walking tour of Savannah meets in the city’s Historic District at Reynolds Square. Once you get acquainted with your guide and group, set off on foot to explore.

Your guide takes you to some of the most important buildings from the 1860s and tells tales of the city’s involvement in the war. savannah history alive

Orlando our tour guide was great. He was very knowledgeable and informative. We particularly liked the way he would repeat the odd remark which was of particular importance. He never faltered with his amazing memory for places, dates and quirky information. Great tour, thanks.

Kelse was a great guide and we enjoyed our day

Kelse is clearly passionate about Savannah's history and shares it will. Our teenage boys enjoyed learning about its civil war and revolutionary war history.

It is wheelchair accessible, pretty rough pushing over some of the cobblestones on River Street. The elevator takes you from Riverstreet up to the road level.
