      Affordable, Entertaining, Educational
I am local to Philly, have taken walking tours before, and was very impressed with the content and everything I learned. This tour definitely featured off the beaten path history and hauntings that I hadn’t heard of before. Our guide V was really knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. Highly recommended. The price also makes this an incredible value.

Lots of history and a little mystery
This tour was well worth the price of admission. Michael was a very fun and knowledgeable guide. I liked learning some of the history of Philly along with some of the mysterious events that happened in the City of Brotherly Love.

      Ghost Tour
Bea was a great story teller. There was confusion on the meeting place, and we got a call from a second tour guide saying we were supposed to be on his tour. Not sure what happened there. We didn’t see all the sites listed, but the ones we did visit were beautiful with great stories to go with them. It was a fun night!

      Not Permitted to Go
We’d bought a 1 day sightseeing pass which was meant to include this tour. When we arrived we were told our pass wasn’t scanning and we wouldn’t be able to go unless we provided a credit card. As we’d already paid for the pass we weren’t prepared to do this as there was no guarantee in place it wouldn’t happen again. Still not sure if it’s a problem with Sightseeing Pass or this company, but either way we were not permitted to take a tour we’d rightly paid for and now won’t be returning to Philly, so that leaves a very sour taste for our experience! We’re from Australia so it’s not like as a remedy when they figure out between them what the problem was that we can just pop back and take the tour. The customer is always left in the middle with these passes and vendors, it’s not right!

      Philly ghost tour
Guide was nice but not a good story teller and could have been more captivating. Might be the material.

      Great Tour
Great tour. Lots of history with a family friendly ghost story at each stop. Lots of stops—we felt like we got to see a good bit of old Philadelphia. Group was small and the guide was way to hear. Highly recommend.

      History and ghost stories
Will was terrific! He kept a good pace and I loved how he interwove history with local ghost stories. He did a great job of getting us around to a few of the sites we hadn’t been to yet on our own travels. All the participants had fun and enjoyed the evening.

      Small group, great experience
Guide was veryknowledgeable, apparently does the history tour as well. Did it in June, so not very dark, but the guide was a verygood storyteller as well as being well informed on the subject matter. Was just my son and I, and another family of dad, mom and daughter. Guide engaged with everyone, mostly on how much the tourists engaged with him. I am mostly quiet so he talked to the other Dad more, it that was fine for me. He did engage when I did ask a question or make a comment. Highly recommend.

      Unreliable tour operator.
Tour cancelled last minute! My son and I went to meet the group for 7:30. No one showed. Decided to check my email to find a cancellation was message sent less than an hour earlier! No details or explanation. I understand things come up but this short notice impacted our evening plans greatly. A text would have been quicker No doubt. In contrast, the tour we took the next day not only sent a reminder text with meeting point info etc. but followed with another asking if we enjoyed the tour/guide. Never recommend this company.

      Great Start to Trip!
This was the first thing we did upon arriving in Philly for a few days. We got a little turned around and almost joined another tour but we found where we needed to be. Julianne was our guide and was fabulous. She waited for us and was polite, engaging, and informative. Our group was small which made for a much more enjoyable tour. Saw lots of cool sites and loved hearing more about the history. Julianne knew the stories yet encouraged our active participation. By the end of the tour we felt like we were friends. Well worth the time and money! My only suggestion is to make sure you eat before the tour! Our 730pm tour ended at 9pm and food options were limited. But that's on us. Thank you, Julianne, for a memorable and fantastic start to our Philly vacation!

A Wonderful Dark History Tour of Philly
We had such a great time on our tour with VIv. He was very knowledge about the history of the city and events that occurred at each stop along the tour route. It was definitely not a canned presentation which I really appreciated. He was enthusiastic and friendly. The tour had a nice flow to it and was not to fast paced. I would highly recommend this tour if you like history, dark details about the past, and seeing the city at night!

      The Best Guide in Town
We were in town for a book signing and ended up on a tour with only 7 total people all of whom were also in town for the book event. Our guide Viv was fun and easy to interact with, incredibly well informed and knowledgeable. We had a ton of fun and would recommend this tour to everyone.

John did an awesome job as tour guide for us. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour interactive, which made it fun. We were able to take pictures along the way, and ask as many questions as we wanted, he made it our tour. He spoke clearly through his mask, and walked backwards facing us, much of the way, to ensure we could hear him. The tour covered most all of the expected points of interest. For those interested in taking the tour, it was all outside, we did not go into any buildings. To see inside the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, save enough time before or after the tour to see inside. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in our nation's history.

This tour was a great experience. Our guide was excellent. It was just my son and I on our tour. He told us tons of information at each stop and pointed out what time each place was open until if we wanted to go back after the tour and where to go to enter the building. We learned where all the branches of government were located, what their decision making processes were, what location important documents were signed and person information about our forefathers. My 16 year old son and I learned so much we didn’t know. He was extremely knowledgeable and would take questions. You do have to stay on schedule to get to each location so you need to be able to walk fast paced. It could be hard for some people to keep up. He said we walked the length of 20 football fields when we were done. Bring water and wear comfortable shoes. You end up where you started and the visitor center is across the street with bathrooms and air conditioner. I took lots of pictures during the tour and we are going to go back and look at them and remember what they were. It’s very interesting and informative. It’s definitely worth it. I

We enjoyed our constitutional walking tour with Connor immensely. He was a fantastic guide who answered many questions and was very knowledgeable of the area. He told us many facts about many of the famous founding fathers of our country that we were unaware of and astounded to hear the truth about. The tour was not long but very interesting. Connor took us to many historical sites and museums that we could go back to after the tour. Many of which were free. This allowed us to visit these museums later during our visit to Philadelphia instead of wandering around aimlessly.

Melissa was AWESOME. I travel fairly often, and try to do some sort of guided tour anytime I visit a major city. I have never had a guide as enthusiastic as Melissa. You could tell she loved the city and the history she was passing on to us. It really made it that much more enjoyable for us as tourists. Melissa, thank you for your passion and energy, and keep it up! Don't ever stop teaching people about “the room where it happened”, and thanks for teaching us about the new city hall, and the William Penn statues! Super awesome bits of trivia I’ll keep with me!

Though it was hot, it was still a great tour. You only get to see a small section of the city, but it focuses mostly on the Revolutionary War area.

The meeting location was simple to figure out and our tour guide was great. Like many Philly attractions, he really contextualized the period and the thinking of the time instead of just spouting trivia facts. This guided in the understanding of the men who created the government to our city. I even told him I thought he'd make a great history teacher because of the way he presented the facts.

It guide was very knowledgeable, but the tour doesn't include any entrances to the sights along the way. Most of the museums are free, so make sure you plan enough time to walk it again and see the museums that interest you. It was a 2 mile, 90 minute tour.

This tour was fine. We went to the places listed in the description, and our guide had a few sentences of information to share about each one. He wasn't really able to respond to follow-up questions in much detail. Compared to other walking tours we've taken, we didn't really feel that the guide or storytelling made the experience come alive, but the itinerary was as described, and we were happy we got to see a variety of historical buildings that were important in the history of Philadelphia and the US.

We fully enjoyed our walking tour through the colonial district of Philadelphia! Connor did a wonderful job of relating the history of the buildings along with interesting anecdotes about the founding fathers (and mothers). The walk was very manageable, the stops were well paced, and the dialog was entertaining. We suggest you do this introductory tour first, then go back to enter the buildings of your choice.

The tour was a great experience if you a there for the first time or coming back and want a refresher of what each spot is around historical city. Each spot you get the quick back story and trivia of history. The is a lot of stops and you spend literally less than 5 mins which is nice because it was really hot that day and had kids with short attention span. When the tour was over, you can go back and spend more time observing and reading signs and displays a spots you find interesting. Our tour guide Will was very nice and knowledgeable about the city. He was theatrical and kept the groups attentions without trouble and answered all our questions.
