      Disappointed
This is a great idea, but when the tour guide is horrible...well, you get it. Bad enough it was so cold, but the guy was actually being paid to tell us "blah blah blah blah". He was the most ill-suited employee I have ever encountered! This was on the gray-line tour covering Central Park and the North end of the city.

      High end shopping mall
Very new shopping mall located in the new development area with the Vessel in the center of it. Very fancy.

The Vessel is an amazing architectural structure
The Vessel at Hudson Yards reminds me of a beehive from a distance. it is an amazing architectural structure to climb navigating the stairs and paths. You need to have a ticket to go inside it so be sure to go th the Hudsonyards.com website to get a free ticket. the tickets are issued with time slots so the can control the crowds seeing it. otherwise you can buy a ticket for $10. there is an elevator if you can't walk the stairs. the view from the top was nice. and looking down from the top into the Vessel was pretty cool. I recommend going into the shopping mall across from the Vessel while you are there. lots of interesting stores and restaurants there. be sure to check out the Spanish restaurant downstairs in the mall.

      Great mall and area
We enjoyed our time in the mall in the area. Especially the Honeycomb 'Vessel'. Lots of choices of fast food restaurants, coffee shops and clothing stores

Best guides ever. Extremely polite, knowledgeable, patient and always going the extra mile to make us feel like their best clients ever. That is the way to do business.

The Hudson Yards is the site of New York's ex railway storage yards and is located adjacent to 12th Street opposite the Hudson River. Over the years there were many proposals for the re-development of the area. The entire site is being re-developed and now includes sculptures, with huge buildings including restaurants and shopping. There is also a huge structure (New York's staircase) of viewing platforms to view the many trains which remain within the rail yards as another part of NYCs history.

I think I was scammed. I showed up 30 minutes early for this tour and waited 30 minutes past the time it was supposed to start. Tour operator was a ‘no show’. Now I get to try and recoup my $85 from the tour operator when I get home from my trip.
