Overview

Little Poland, a small neighborhood nestled within the East Village, is home to one of best food scenes in New York. Immerse yourself in Polish cuisine on a walking tour with stops at up to 5 authentic eateries for samples including perogies, kielbasa, egg cream, and ruggelach. In addition to navigating for you, your guide points out historic landmarks along the way that visitors often miss.

What to Expect

Meet your guide in ‘Little Poland’ in the East Village to head out on your pierogi walk. Learn about the immigration of Eastern Europeans, including the Dutch and Germans, to America and how they influenced societies.

Sample delicious treats from the region including pierogis—dumplings filled with potato and cheese—spicy kielbasa sausage, and baked goods such as ruggelach. Learn how the immigrants shaped the culinary map of the East Village.

Visit famous landmarks such as Little Germany and St. Mark’s Place, home to a variety of musical legends and greats, such as Andy Warhol’s Night Club. Conclude the tour with full bellies and a greater sense of the East Village culture.

Hi Kelley, Thanks for the great review and recommendation. One of the advantages of taking the tour in the summer are sampling fresh blueberry pierogis. They're a summer specialty and don't last long. I'm equally as glad your sister-in-law found the tour. Happy Summer. Greg
