What to Expect

Meet your guide at at a designated meeting point just blocks away from Ground Zero. As your  guide takes you through Lower Manhattan, listen to their local perspective on 9/11 and its aftermath.

Follow the guide to landmarks usually missed by Ground Zero visitors, including St. Paul’s Chapel, Brookfield Place, the Eleven Tears Memorial, and the Winter Garden. Pause for a silent moment at the Memorial Pools, built into the footprint of the original Twin Towers, and cap off the guided portion of the tour at the Survivor Tree, salvaged from the wreckage of Ground Zero.

Impressive tour

Our guide Robert R Yonskie did a great job. I can highly recommend his tour. The tour was full of personal stories and things you don't read in your travelguide. Sometimes even emotional.

We were a group of 10 of all ages. The walking pace was more along the lines of a stroll.
