Overview

Enjoy unobstructed views of the New York City skyline on this Hudson River cruise to the Statue of Liberty, a great overview of top NYC sights in Midtown and Lower Manhattan. Leave from a Midtown pier, and snap classic photos of Manhattan, One World Trade Center, Empire State Building, and Ellis Island. With this one tour you’ll avoid the hassle of booking separate tours and transit to each destination.

What to Expect

Make your way to Pier 83 on Midtown Manhattan’s west side. Arrive 45 minutes or an hour (peak season) before your desired departure.

Keep your camera ready as the cruise pulls into the Hudson River, as you’ll pass the landmarks that define the New York City skyline, from the Empire State Building to Lady Liberty.

There’s a tour guide onboard for commentary on passing sights, as well as recorded narration in seven languages via an app. Get up-close views, within 100 feet (30 meters) of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, and take advantage of snacks and drinks available for purchase on the boat.

As you make your way back up the Hudson River, take in the city skyline, as well as the bustling boat traffic that links Manhattan with Jersey City.

The tour concludes at the original departure point, Pier 83.

I initially was planning to book the Statue of Liberty cruise through NY Water Taxi, but it appears Circle Line acquired them and our cruise was via Circle Line. We did the Statue of Liberty Express, which is a 1 hour guided tour that gives...More
