Overview

A comprehensive list of stops in downtown, uptown, Brooklyn, and New York Harbor means you can design a New York tour by double-decker bus and boat that’s right for you, without being tied down to preset schedules or group tours. Choose from a list of flexible options and attraction passes and see New York on your own terms, while avoiding the expense of taxis.

What to Expect

Choose the tour option that’s right for you, paying only for the duration, attractions, and activities you’ll use. You can board at any bus stop by showing your mobile or paper voucher to the on-board staff.

If you’re a first-time visitor, get your bearings on one of the three loop hop-on, hop-off bus routes: Downtown, Uptown, or Brooklyn. Some of the highlights of these include Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and Museum Mile, and the routes are carefully designed to pass a long list of landmarks.

Since passes include unlimited access throughout the duration, you’ll have the option to ride the entire loop, then return to see the places that interest you most. The night tour shows New York City when it lights up after dark, and a hop-on, hop-off cruise option sails to the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge, with photo-friendly views of the New York City skyline.

Long lines and little interest from the company

They only care about selling you the ticket and, once it’s sold, there isn’t a single employee working to help the dozen customers who are waiting. In the meantime, a lot of people are cutting the long lines require to board the buses (kudos for...More

Inconsistent

Basically, we liked it for the most part. There were good things about this experience. We saw things we would have never found on a self guided tour. Some of the guides were interesting and provided good information. All guides were polite and helpful. NYC...More

Good and some not so good

I did the Downtown, Uptown, and Night GrayLine Tour. I did all this over the long weekend of Columbus Day. First of all I found there weren’t enough stops to hop on or off. Example: To go to Little Italy you get off at the...More
