I had a great time during my experience with the trolley tour. Captain Matty and Bunker were two of my trolley drivers and each of them made the experience all the more memorable.

While riding along from stop to stop, so much information and fun facts are given about Boston and its history. Captain Matty and Bunker have such funny commentary.

Very informative and entertaining tour delivered by our trolley driver/guide, Crafty. Rode the entire route (about 1.5 hours) earlier today. Returning tomorrow to linger at a few stops and walk the area.

Magoo was our tour guide. He has a passion for history. You really get to see all historical places with tidbits at each stop. We purchased a two day ticket and are on our way to actually hop on and hop off today. So much history in Boston!

The great mix of contemporary tidbits with classic Boston history was a pure delight. Despite December weather, trolley was warm with their plastic windows. We had two drivers Skipper, a retired engineer who knew his buildings and styles..great. Then we had Tiger, a raconteur with a wild sense of humor. Both clearly adore their city. We used coupon from hotel brochure to snag a discount on our excursion. This is worth every nickel if one is a first time visitor.

The overall tour information was good and the stops were great. The platinmum package did not come with the cruis so I had to purchase tickets for that separately which was very misleading from the description. Also, the trolleys came every 30 minutes from a stop. We ended up doing more walking between attractions than anticipated because it was shorter than waiting 30 minutes for the next trolley.

It was ok. Buses are definitely not 20 minutes apart. Some drivers were better than others. Interesting facts and history told, but hard to hear them.

We did this tour during a recent trip to Boston and really enjoyed it. We have done Old Town trolley tours before in Savannah and St. Augustine and have always had a great experience. The Boston tour was no different. Our driver, Capt. Matty, did a great job from start to finish! He was fun, personable, and did a great job narrating throughout the tour. This is great way to see all the major points of interest in Boston and learn about its history in the process. It was easy to get too as well. We drove in and parked in the parking garage near the New England Aquarium and walked to the Old Town trolley station. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Visiting Boston for the first time, so decided to go old town trolley tour. This involved 15 stops (hop on, hop off) and for us, one change of trolley and driver. Driver no 2 asked where we came from and we told him we were from Scotland.
All was going well, both male drivers were very knowledgeable of Boston which made this both interesting and enjoyable.
However after completing a full circuit, we wanted to depart at Prudential Center (stop no.9) only for our driver to announce he was surprised at us wanting to visit shops, as Scots had a reputation for not wanting to part with money and being mean!!!!! ????????????? Really, how not to be given any tips, wise-guy - not.
This only put a dampener on what was a nice experience of Boston, until these unwelcome comments by someone severely lacking in customer service.
Fortunately, this was an isolated experience as otherwise Bostonian's were very warm and friendly people who generally gave a warm reception to us Scots people. In return, anywhere good service was experienced, this was rewarded by generous gratuity.
