Moab Combo: Colorado River Rafting and Canyonlands National Park
From US$179.19
Overview
Marvel at some of Utah’s natural wonders on an activity-packed combo tour from Moab, a great choice for thrill seekers. Go off-road in a 4WD vehicle through Islands of the Sky in Canyonlands National Park while your guide shares the area’s fascinating history. Then, board your raft for a thrilling ride on the Colorado River. All equipment and lunch is included on this family-friendly tour, which doesn't require any previous rafting experience.
What to Expect
At a convenient Moab location, connect with your guide to head out on the first part of your combo trip: a 4-hour, 4WD adventure in Canyonlands National Park. Highlights of the craggy terrain include White Rim Road, with fabulous views of Fossil Point, as well as scenic Shafer Trail. Time for photos of ancient rock art is followed by lunch.

Afternoon brings a descent into the canyon for a rafting adventure that includes the Fisher Towers area of the Colorado River. After being outfitted with a life preserver, your expert guide navigates you safely over Class II and Class III rapids, followed by the float portion of the trip. During this, you'll have the opportunity to take photos of the towering canyon walls and, warm weather permitting, perhaps even a swim. Keep your eyes open for river wildlife.

Your return transport to Moab completes your 4WD and river-rafting adventure.

Amazing way to see Moab

This is a great way to see things in Moab that most only dream about. The guides were very informative and fun. I don't want this review to make Navtec too popular because then next time I'm in Moab I definitely going on another tour..

You sit back and relax. There are several stops and it ends with a ride up the Shafer Trail in Canyonlands National Park.

I don't think a 7 year old would be able to see out the window quite the way an adult would. The vehicle usually holds 4 people, in addition to the driver. One in the front and three in back. One person in our group was... More

I think the calm/roughness of the ride depends on the season and the rains or the snowmelt. If you are going in early May there may still be higher waters, colder water, and more rapid currents, which would produce more... More
