First Amazing Camping Experience!!!!
Oct 2021
This was my first camping trip in Yosemite and Inc Adventures made it so easy and memorable! Buck was our tour guide, he was knowledgeable about the park's history and habitats that I've got some interesting stories to share with friends and family. We had a great time cooking outdoor and doing yoga with one of our tour members, was super relaxing after long hour hikes. Would definitely go back, highly recommended it with Inc Adv!

Do this trip! Hope you get Lisa! Make new friends and mamories!
Sep 2021
I have very little experience camping. My wife has had none. She was actually very resistent to the idea but since it was my birthda, she decided to indulge me. So glad she did.

First off we had an a wordclass, amazing, kind, knowledgable, energetic, sociable guide named Lisa. She was amazing! Just really memorable and probably a highlight of my life. She took us everywhere and more. She taught us how to setup camp, showed us the best way to see the stars, led a group meditation, made sure that we we all comfortable and made sure to be aware of everyone different abilities and interest. She was just amazing!

Everything decibed in the trip, you get to see and then some. You get to see/do more if everyone works effectively together and knows common decency. If your selfish and lazy your just going to screw yourself on this trip.

We slept at a camp grounds with shower and running sinks and bathroom stalls. Bring Sandals, would make life alot easier. The tents were fine. Sleeping mats were fine. We used our own sleeping bags. The food was good and simple. It was sandwiches and tacos and eggs and we did get a chance to buy some food at a local restaurant (this is 1 dinner). On the way to yosemite you do get a chance to buy snacks or extra water so you don't really need to do that beforehand.

We are in a big van with a attached trailer. It fit 10 of us comfortably (including Lisa). So you can bring a luggage and bag if you want, there is plenty of space in the trailer and it will be safe during the trip. Campgrounds was next to a hotel where youo can swim in the pool if you wanted to. I was generally too tired to do that at the end of the day. You share the campgrounds with other people but it was generally quiet after 10. But there was a dog one night that just wouldn't shut up, but you can't really do much about that. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

I'm not in the best shape but most things I was able to handle with some exertion but Lisa will always make sure everyone is accounted for and never left alone behind. The days are packed! Expect to rise early at 6:30sih and get going by 8. We came back to camp different times at night but usually enough time and daylight to make camp and cook in the dark. Bring a headlamp, it really helps.

I felt like i got lucky with my group. We were diverse but we treated eachother well. it amplified the experience. I would do this again if given the chance, especially with Lisa at the helm!

Beautiful trip
Aug 2021
Our guide, Daniel, was amazing. He worked non stop the entire three days. The hikes he arranged were diverse, taking in the different aspects of Yosemite. Beautiful. Bear in mind that this is camping, not a hotel. As with all camping experiences, everyone needs to pitch in and help, whether it is with cooking, dishes, set up, tear down, etc. We had a great group who all shared in the responsibilities, which made our trip so much better for everyone.

Well Organized, Covid exposure depends on the group you get
Aug 2021 • Solo
We had a small group of 7 for our 3 day tour. The spots in the park we visited were moderate level hikes all of short distances (max 5 miles round trip), but still had incredible views. A great mix of guided time and open/flexible time—our last day in the valley our guide gave us many options of potential hikes, bike rides, sights, or swims we could enjoy. Our guide was knowledgeable and everyone was open to chatting and making new friends.

For Covid—a lot of time is spent in the van with the group members driving to and from as well as inside the park. I chose to bring my own individual tent (which was approved when I asked), and all group members were pretty good about wearing masks when inside the van. Most likely if any of the members of your group had Covid, you would still be exposed even with these precautions just because of the amount of time spent together in the van and outdoors.

Tour is good, camping is bad
Jul 2021
It's very practical to hire a tour such as this one to get to know Yosemite. It's great that they pick you up, take you everywhere and leave you back in San Francisco. It's very useful to have all meals solved and all hikes already organized. The tour guide was kind and provided us with interesting information. But the camping itself was a disaster. The camping site is literally over the route, you hear cars go by all night, it's very small, you are right beside all other campers, you camp over dirt (which is very uncomfortable), there's no signal of any kind nor WIFI, and it's overall an unpleasant experience. The restrooms and showers are okay and there's hot water, but everything else honestly sucks. It'd be great if they could find a camping site that provided you with the experience of camping and enjoying nature, being able to hear the birds and bugs, sleeping over grass, seeing the stars, enjoying a river or nearby water. I believe that's what all of us want when camping in Yosemite, not hearing cars, being covered in dirt and having no privacy at all. And it's very hot for camping in July, not recommended at all.

Hello Veronica! Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it very much. We are sorry to hear that you had an uncomfortable time and will pass on the message to management and the park to discuss how can we improve the experience to our guests. Thank you Incredible Adventures!

It was OK
Jul 2021 • Friends
Overall had a positive experience. Here are my pros/cons

Pros:
- very good transportation. Comfortable van, very clean and accommodating; they were able to hold our luggage and other items for the duration of the trip. Driver/tour guide (Dan) was also a good driver
- pick up and drop off location at good area in SF
- easy/moderate hiking trails
- tour guide Dan was very knowledgable about SF and yosemite which was helpful

Cons:
- 2 lunches were provided on the trip when the booking details noted 3
- Pictures on the booking site for this tour were deceiving regarding the camping site. Many of us were under the impression the camping site was located within the actual yosemite park when in fact it was a 30min drive outside of it. This should have been communicated prior/during booking
- camping site was next to a noisy road which made it very difficult to sleep at night and we were very close to other campers which made noise during nighttime.
- poor communication skills from our tour guide Daniel. There were many instances where we figured things out on the spot regarding the tour with no prior notification from him. He also did not do a very good job socializing and bringing all of us on the tour together. He was a bit reserved
- It was a group of 12 and I felt two tour guides would have been more ideal. It was a lot of work for one tour guide

Overall, we had a decent experience but I would not tour with this company again.

Great trip to see Yosemite's highlights in 3-day action packed camping holiday
Jul 2021
A really positive camping experience, with a great leader, Jill. The 3-day trip offered a variety of activities - walking, swimming, driving through the most amazing landscape, fabulous fresh meals, and the opportunity to chill and relax or do some great walks. Jill was a terrific guide, a safe and skilled driver, and provided a range of explanations on the geology, habitat, animals etc of the region. She went out of her way to make sure all of us were very well looked after, a great communicator and great sense of humor and passion for the environment. Thank you!

May 2021
This trip exceeded our expectations! Our guide WES was amazing- great vibes, great stories, and full of knowledge/experience. All we had to do was show up and everything else was taken care of in order to have a great time. We all worked together to have a full camping experience without the headache of preparing all the gear and food. Wes knew exactly where to take us based on the weather each day and held us to a schedule that allowed for just the right amount of time at each activity/site so that we were not rushed and could take it all in, but also were able to see all the highlights within the 3 days. Our favorite parts of Yosemite was the hike up Misty Trail passed Vernon Falls as well as the incredible views from Glacier Point. That being said, every part of the park is beautiful- we couldn't get enough. Everyone in the group was friendly and brought a great adventurous attitude. We enjoyed sharing stories about life and other adventures with our new pals. We would totally recommend Incredible Adventures

A great disconnection
With the 3-day trip, we were lucky to be guided by Rourke. The landscapes are magnificent and the atmosphere is soothing. Beautiful walking, pretty mountain and a very involved and pleasant guide. This allows you to fill up and disconnect. Thanks for all!

Nature detox in Yosemite
Oct 2019
I joined the trip beginning of October. It was one of the final tours scheduled for the season, but we were lucky with the weather.
We hiked and saw fantastic views, and were also lucky enough to see a bear and some deers from the car.
Our guide Kate was enthusiastic and motivated throughout the tour. She kept on encouraging the group for the hike, and was punctual yet flexible on the planning over the 3 days. She gave us the full list of where we visited after the trip, which I find very generous as a follow-up.
I joined the tour with my mother, but the trip is ideal for solo travelers too, and you will most likely meet people from around the world.
Communication with the tour company before the trip was smooth as well.
Recommended.
