Monterey, Carmel with Aquarium
Day trip to Monterey, Carmel and 17-Mile Drive INCLUDING Monterey Bay Aquarium admission.
From US$118.00
Overview
Running along the Pacific coastline in California, Highway 1’s route involves plenty of twists and turns. Rather than dealing with the stress of driving it on your own, take this Monterey and Carmel tour that allows you to keep your eyes on the spectacular views. It includes round-trip transportation from San Francisco, and you can even add an optional admission ticket to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
What to Expect
Start your guided tour to Monterey with a pickup from Union Square in San Francisco. Once you board your vehicle for the day, relax on the drive.

Your guide takes you down the California coast for views of the Pacific Ocean and beachside mansions. Your first stop is in Monterey where you’ll have about two hours of free time to stroll Cannery Row. You can also add on an admission ticket to Monterey Bay Aquarium when booking for an additional upgrade fee.

Afterward, it’s on to Carmel-by-the-Sea for some more free time before the drive back to San Francisco.

Hi, It takes about 12 hours all in. It was fantastic! It doesn’t seem that long as you have stops on the way, so it is very interedting. I would do it all over again if I could! Well worth the money.

There are select pick up and set down spots such as certain Hotels and of course the Depot. Just check with the Bus Company or Tour Office for the closest point to you.
