Begin with pickup at your Jackson Hole or Teton Village-area hotel, then travel into Grand Teton National Park in a van that accommodates up to 12 people. Hear the frontier history behind the ‘Shane’ cabins, an old fashioned homestead with a rugged mountain backdrop, and a film site for the classic western movie ‘Shane.’ Your guide will share colorful stories and facts throughout the tour, providing fascinating context as you soak up Grand Teton National Park scenery.
Try to spot bison and antelope as you cross Antelope Flats, where grassland rolls straight to the base of the high mountains; this is the perfect place to capture classic shots of the the peaks at their most dramatic. Continue to Signal Mountain Lodge, where you can dine inside or on the scenic deck, which looks out towards a Jackson Lake sunset. Order from a full dining menu, and relax with early evening views.
Make the return trip via Moose–Wilson Road, a scenic drive that’s known for a thriving moose population. Use binoculars and spotting scope along the way to watch for wildlife through the van’s panoramic viewing windows, then exit the park as the first stars appear above the Grand Tetons. This tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.

The guide was on time picking us up in a nice and comfortable vehicle, and introduced themselves. Sadly, that was the highlight. The tour, though somewhat educational, was not near as good as others offered in the Jackson Hole area. The stops were not well-planned....More
We had a marvelous tour with Chris. He was very knowledgeable as well as passionate about his work. Always trying to find something and make sure we had great pictures to remind us of our time in the Tetons. Also had a great dinner with...More

We had 7 children in our group, ranging from 3 years of age to 14. My daughter, who is 11, loved the tour, stating that she saw so many "cool" things. And my son, 9, was so grateful that Ryan was able to find the bears that he so desperately wanted to see. There are so many opportunities to exit the truck & hopefully see wildlife that the children do not get bored.

It's an off-road vehicle. Depending on where he goes, this truck does the job. It's not a "monster" truck as you would see at a show. But the tires are larger and the truck sits up high. It holds about 10 people.
