From the moment I spoke to Captain Rich, I could tell he was going to provide the right charter for my 11yr old son and I. Captain Rich was incredible, not only did we catch 90 fish on our full day charter (shad, bass, and large cat fish), we learned a TON. Captain Rich was a natural with my son. He was a great teacher, patient, funny, and overall just an awesome dude. I am 100% going to go back out again. Because of my sons limited attention span ;-) the charter was geared towards catching lots of fish, and Captain Rich delivered!!! My son hasn't stopped talking about and thanking me for such an amazing day of fishing. Book the charter, see for yourself! I am positive you will not be disappointed.

I’ve been out a couple of times with Captain Rich. We did one outing at Occoquan that was a bit of a bust due to conditions, but Rich went out of his way to make sure we had some success. For beginners like me he’ll vary bait and tackle as needed to adjust for the situation so the day ends up on a high note. The second time was a beautiful day on the upper Potomac after some rain where we hooked about 40 smallmouth between us. His boat is ideal for two but you could make things work comfortably with a small third. I plan on booking again and taking one of my sons once they are more comfortable on the water. Overall Rich provides a great fishing experience!

Really a perfect day on the river with Captain Rich. We reeled in 7 blue catfish within the first few hours. He really knows where the spots are! Rich is a skilled boat operator, and I felt very safe. I’d highly recommend booking a fishing trip with Rich.

I’m new to fishing, trying to learn some skills to take my kids fishing. Captain Rich has a lot of experience on the Potomac and delivered a fantastic and educational fishing experience. We caught 6 smallmouth bass and a catfish. He had all the gear we needed, I just had to bring myself. Looking forward to the next trip, and may just bring my son so his first fishing trip is a guaranteed blast.

Captain rich took my son and I fishing a few times. We went September 17, 2016 and had such a blast. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. My son caught a couple of stripped bass and was so thrilled. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful day out on the upper Potomac. My two teens and I landed 20 fish with some lovely smallmouth and three channel cats. What a great time and we learned a LOT from Captain Rich's instruction.

Captain Rich took me out to try out smallmouth bass fishing for the first time. Let me say that it’s an absolute blast! We had good luck all day.

I have had the privilege of fishing with Captain Rich more than three times now, all of which were unforgettable experiences! He is very knowledgeable having fished all around the world, with focus on NoVA. The charter is very well organized, and he comes well prepared with all the gear, and teaches you how to use it! Would definitely recommend!
