About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- elyza1800 contributionsGreat for when visiting legolandOk, a lot of playgrounds for the kids. Nice themes. We extended our stay and stayed in the pirate hotel for one night which was great!! The cottages are ok but very small.Written 11 September 2024
- EminaL1760 contributionsNice visit - recomment also for adultsI recommend this visit also for adults, not just children. It is a nice daily trip, with fun rides, and for me Mini legoland was the best - the work and detail put into building it was impressiveWritten 6 September 2024
- sincero610 contributionsway too expensive for …. Literally nothing …If I could write -5 stars I would do it… way too expensive for …. Literally nothing … everything very boring … it is much better to go to a typical Luna ParkWritten 24 August 2024
- alexandrafJ5408FE0 contributionsnegativI am very disappointed with the visit. There was a 1.5 hour wait for individual attractions:-( Ball games for stuffed animals, which have conditions where you cannot win (fraud on visitors). Paid parking, when leaving the parking lot you wait in line for a long time, because it is checked whether you have paid the parking fee.Written 19 August 2024
- Diaconeasa V0 contributionsA bit disapointing experience! It was a nice experience overall. But the waiting times for the rides (20-50mn) made the experience a little bit disapointing. Maybe they should consider to put a limit on the number pf people per day. Food is not tasty but if you are very hungry is probably ok!Written 8 August 2024
- e_alqahtani0 contributionsGreat fun for the kids. Our kids had a fantastic time at Legoland! We highly recommend booking online and in advance, as it’s much cheaper. Our only concern was the park's closing time. It would be great if the park extended its hours by an hour or two during the long summer days.Written 7 August 2024
- siyanak20210 contributionsBest family tripWe loved it. The price is OK. The park is very beautiful, spacious and very interesting for the kids. The roller-coasters were great. Surely we will visit again some day.Written 31 July 2024
- Ingriddv0 contributionsGreat theme parkGreat theme park for young and old. Good rides, plenty of food options. If you want to do all rides, one day is not enough. The only thing that we didn't like is that people are smoking everywhere, not just in the designated areas.Written 26 July 2024
- Ambassador4644620 contributionsGood and badGood overall park. 2 dissapointments - served me warm beer and tha parking geaway is nightmare, poor organisation, can not leave for over an hour!Written 23 July 2024
- ramonc9440 contributionsGreat experience for whole family, we were having so much fun even though the weather was not ok.We were having so much fun on every attraction. Great experience for whole family. Take your time and enjoy, it is really good.Written 23 June 2024
- Pinkypromise5240 contributionsLegotastic!!Legoland Germany is a fantastic experience. We spent 3 days in the park. Plenty to do for all ages. Ride heights range from 90-110cm. Staff are diligent but not many speak English. Quite expensive for basics, water is €4.50 (€1.80 outside the park) Our 7 year old couldn't do the driving school as the class is only taught in German. English speaking children must he able to read the support card (found the German staff member very rude. She laughed to another staff member when my son didn't read to her standard) Park can easily be done in a day or two. The lego outlet and the shop at the lego factory are great value. Our kids loved the minifigure shop and the smaller ninjago build a figure. The large lego shop has lots of sets not readily available in ireland, so our kids loved it!Written 8 June 2024
- 968linaaa0 contributionsCrowded, unorganised, but prettyOverall nice park with lot of attractions for small kids, BUT there are some issues I can only give 3 stars.. CROWDS!!! We were there 2 days- 1 is not enough to see whole Legoland. One day was bussines day, one was german holiday. First day waiting line on main attractions was 30-40 minutes, the second was 50+ minutes. As if that was not enough, on two main rides they had technical problems and we waited even more!!! So, if rides are open 10-5 (7 hours), imagine how (not)many rides you can get?! For price I would expect more, park is for little kids but kids are tired of waiting in line for 40+ minutes for 40-seconds ride. I would suggest that sold tickets are limited so that guests can actually enjoy time there, or that they make virtual queues, like they did in Gardaland in Corona times (virtual "standing"in line, so you can enjoy Legoland , have a drink, go buy legos... in meantime.) That was brilliant, customers would be much happier! And another thing- me and son (and many other people) were waiting for 4D Ninjago cinema- at the timetable it said there will be at 17:30 (out time) and another 18:00. Guess what- at 17:35 they came out and said there will be no shows anymore! We were furious and of course kids were disappointed. Unbelievable. (Photos) And one more thing- many of their employees (rides, food) are so tired of their job, they roll they eyes at people, are not nice, which I think is not acceptable.Written 2 May 2024
- expateurotraveler0 contributionsGreat for smaller kids!We visited LEGOLAND Germany during the Easter break and it was overall pretty okay. Because the theme park closer to us is really top, it’s hard not to make some comparisons on what could be better. What we liked was that the park is pretty small, and very walkable for the kids. But the park is rather small, and in my opinion, geared for kids under 10. There are 3 roller coasters and the wait times for these were long, about 50-60 minutes. As it was a holiday weekend, the wait times for most rides hovered around 40-60 minutes… so maybe consider the express pass if you go on a busy weekend. We didn’t take it because we were there for 2 days, and it feels really expensive when you add the express pass on top of the normal ticket price. The park does not run on efficiency, and that was probably one really frustrating part. Sometimes the rides were really slow to load, and the poor person at the pasta station was alone, during the lunch rush. I think the park could use a few more staff during these holiday weekends to deal with the surge in visitors. It would help the operators if they didn’t have to do all the safety checks themselves, and operate the ride. It would also help in efficiently running the rides and total turnover of rides per hour. One thing we noticed was that the wait times in the app and at the ride are totally off. Some rides said a wait time of 10 minutes and we ended up waiting 40. Sometimes it said 40 minutes and we got lucky and breezed through with a 15 minute wait. I am not at all sure where the data is coming from, but an updated system of accurate wait times would be much better. The kids really enjoyed their time and so for us it was a successful visit. But LEGOLAND Germany has a lot of potential and room for improvement!Written 30 March 2024
- Lennybren0 contributionsNeeds more thought and careAs a family of 4 we have been twice in the last 9 months, granted my baby is too young for it but our 4 year old absolutely loves it! We were just there for the winter openings, which was lovely, although a lot of the attractions were closed we knew this in advance. The staff were very friendly and I would say my favorite thing was the baby center where, as a breastfeeding mother, I could go and feed/change and hangout with my baby when she needed, they also sold baby food and supplies, it was really lovely and I appreciated this so much! The lady working there was also really nice. There was also plenty of toilet facilities and family bathrooms. One big downside is the lack of healthy food options and I know people at theme parks aren’t looking for gourmet food but if you are there for a few days as we were it would be nice to have some healthy options to throw in the mix. Also there is no milk alternatives offered anywhere in the park or hotel which was very disappointing. The “shows” offered for the winter experience were lacking big time. The ice show was just a woman skating around to music, while she was really good it wasn’t much for children. We also learned they will start charging for children as young as 3 which is ridiculous as there is nothing they can go on besides the train and maybe the planes!Written 4 January 2024

We have been to Legoland many times in the past and were very happy about the experience, but this year was not good at all.
1. It's stated that every adult and most kids need to show proof of the 3G rule. But when we entered the park no one was required to show proof. I stood by the front gate for 15 minutes and observed no one was being checked. So the 150 for the PCR test was for nothing...
2. It is stated that only medical masks are allowed. All over the park people were wearing cloth masks.
3. in 2020, staff made sure everyone used the disinfection to clean the hands before going on the rides. This time they did not, and almost all the time the bottles were EMPTY.
4. The bathrooms were always out of paper towels to dry the hands after washing. So people shake their hands and the floor is all wet and slippery.
I hope Legoland can get their act together and fix the issue, because before it was a truely awesome place to visit.

We spent 2 days in Legoland in April with our two sons (2 and 4 years old).
We really enjoyed it, especially our two Ninjago fans.
It's amazing what you can build with simple Lego bricks.
It's easy to find your way around.
The range of food and drinks is typical for a theme park and usually costs a lot.
In summary, it was a very successful stay that we will definitely repeat.

I loved the theme park and all of the attractions. I haven't been to many theme parks before, the only other being Disneyland in California. I highly recommend going here if you enjoy Lego, exciting themed rides, and a good time! So much fun today, even with the rain. I went on the off season so there weren't any lineups which made it even more fun.

We took a detour so we could visit Legoland Germany as we don’t travel that far south usually. I felt it was a very modern, well planned park, like Busch Gardens in the US, the parks are always a bit different and that is also a point to mention regarding the Legolands. Comparr ex Florida, Billind and Germany, it is 3 different parks. Like Florida, it is wider, more space or at least it feels like it. We spent two days there and had a great time. So if you’r into LEGO (land) as we are, you’ll have a great experience. A final point, I think the Food is better in the Germany park but my heart will always be in Billund as thats where I have my childhood memories from. Enjoy you trip folks❤️

Had a wonderful day!
Please note, however:
Legoland is not a normal amusement park but a wonderful Lego theme park. (If you compare this to large roller coaster parks, you will probably be disappointed)
If you want to visit a wonderfully designed and hand-built Lego theme park with some really great rides, you will get your money's worth here.
Respect for so many great Lego figures. (Spread throughout the park, always nice to discover them again)
Great rides for children and families. (Roller coasters, water rides, kiddie rides, rollovers and round rides and much more.)
Great shows in the monkey theater and in the summer in the large arena.
Recommendation for all families
Recommendation for couples who want to spend a nice day in a great Lego atmosphere
Recommendation for all LEGO FANS
Not recommended for adrenaline seekers :-)
The cleanliness of the park and the extremely friendly staff are particularly worth mentioning here.
The food is very tasty, although as usual in parks a little more expensive.
Thanks for the delicious fresh waffles with cherries... TOP
We'll be back.

We were there on the first weekend of the season. Because of that - and probably also because it was windy and partly rainy - the park wasn't very busy. Accordingly, we wouldn't have needed the Gold Pass that we had booked in advance, but we just don't know that.
The Lego models everywhere in the park are very cool, but the rides are aimed at (smaller) children but are ok. We were able to visit practically everything in a single day, no more time is necessary.
The quality of the food is - in contrast to the very good food in the holiday village - at best mediocre and practically exclusively fast food

We were 4 days in the Legoland Resort and I want to share the following facts:
- first and the most important point, they don't have any consideration for the people in need of the Take Care wristband, at reception they told me to go to pick it up directly at main entrance of the park without offering any shuttle or bus service. Furthermore, the manager didn't even know about it, giving the impression that I was talking about something never heard. This is very bad for the Lego brand and put this resort in a position not at all welcoming for people with disabilities
-second point, we were 4 days at this Resort and the room was never cleaned. When I escalated it at reception, I was told that cleaning is not part of my booking package! This was shocking as I never thought that a resort for families with kids could even sell packages without including cleaning! Furthermore, they didn't even provide a broom in the room for allowing us to sweep the floor!
- The rest of the experience was fine, food is decent and we always found a place to eat even during Easter day

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your visit and for your feedback.
The Take Care Wristband is an option that we have implemented many years ago and is a vital part of welcoming all guests here at LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort. I will forward your feedback to the concerning department.
Concerning your second point. Guest that stay longer than one night can actively chose an environment option with which the rooms are not cleaned during their stay in order to safe recourses.
This is not a standard option and must be actively chosen for free during the booking.
We hope that you were able to spend some great moments here at LEGOLAND Deutschland.
Kind regards,
Your LEGOLAND Team

Our children, 7 and 5 at the time, loved the theme park and equally loved the play area pirate ship in front of the hotel. As far as theme parks go, this is as good as most. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel that serves a great breakfast. The dinner menu could be expanded. For Lego lovers, this is a great place to visit.

Completely overcrowded rides. 1.5 hours waiting time for a 2-minute ride. With 4 children and 4 adults, we spent 370 euros. Never again. We only went on 12 rides with everyone. That's over 30 euros per ride.
