Brilliant experience. I was nervous beforehand but v professional and friendly pilot made it seem natural . Once I was in the air loved every second. The pilot asked if I wanted to do some acrobatics but I was only game enough for a few. Pilot allowed me to control the flight for a while and he gave clear instructions, in English. My son (17) had a flight at the same time and he loved it.

This the most unprofessional business I’ve ever encountered. I travelled across the planet to paraglide in France and this company did not honour our agreement. They provided a link to an address that did not work. After this they acted as if I’m too incompetent to follow gps. Further they offered a different time slot with complete disregard for the fact that people have a schedule to adhere to.

Very nice complete experience, very nice people well organised. We would book again with the same company. Best activity we have done hete in Annecy

The highlight of my trip! What an amazing feeling to glide over beautiful Lake Annecy under the lead of a professional instructor. The descent was exhilarating and the views were epic.

I signed up through Trip Advisor. The Sensation Paragliding is run through Takamaka, Annecy. They have a location in the Old Town Annecy. Glad I went there a few days before my reserved time. Turns out you actually meet the guides in Doussard at the Takamaka Chalet. This area has 4 other paragliding businesses, all next to each other. There was no one manning the booth for Takamaka the day I was there and another representative from another company told me the guides would show up eventually. I arrived 30 mins early before my appointment. I did call the Takamaka offices and was told that unfortunately, there was a car accident on the road to Doussard and the van with the 3 Paragliding guides was in traffic for another hour plus. Finally the other gliders and I got up to the launch area, an hour and half after my original appointment time. The guide I had, Sylvan, was very experienced and had been Paragliding professionally since 2005, so I felt safe. He did a good job. The flight is only about 15 mins, but it was a great view over Lake Annecy and I am glad to have gone. When you do land from the starting point, you are asked if you want your video and pictures of your experience. It's another 30 Euros. My suggestion would be to check out a few of the Paragliding places and compare. I think it's slightly cheaper to sign up when you're in France. Or so I heard from another person who flew at the same time as I did.

This was a highlight of our trip! The most perfect way so see all of Annecy and more! Our tour guides and instructors were amazing! It’s definitely not as scary as it may seem, no free fall, just smooth sailing down. Recommend purchasing the pictures/videos. They turned out amazing!

Antoine was our guide, and could not have been better. He guided us through the proper use of an e-bike, and also advised us before particularly challenging parts of the terrain. The excursion does have its physical challenges, but the e-bikes make it possible. Highly recommended.

Antoine was very friendly and helpful. He was an excellent trip leader. It started raining pretty hard but we altered our route a little and a had a fun time. Highly recommend .

This was amazing! I was looking for the best school to do it for the first time and for sure Takamaka is the best, especially when Phillipe is in command. They ensure you are comfortable and enjoying the experience throughout the whole flight. Take a risk and feel the adrenaline, jts soo worth it! Thank you so much Takamaka and especially Phillipe!! Can’t wait for more flights :)

I only have to say thanks to the people of Takamaka because they made possible for me the experience to see snow for the first time. All of them were very helpful and kind from the beginning. They always answered me very fast the emails and sent me information and when I suddenly arrived to the office asking for a guide trekking with raquettes in the mountain the girl from the office found an option for us very quickly and also a solution for the transport from Annecy to Le Semnoz. The guide Antonie was very funny and friendly with us. He explained us lot of things about the place, the animals, and the surroundings. It was an incredible experience for me and my friends and I really recommend to do a tour with Takamaka. I hope to see you again!

Did the prestige flight including photos and a little acrobatics .. Fantastic views, sensations, memories.. Up there for 45 mins, over the snow on the montain tops, over the lake, high g-forces while spinning .. Great flight.. Easy online booking, simple process for parking, pick up etc.. If i was to complain about something, there's no briefing on what's going on, you are literally out of the van, attached to the pilot and told to walk off the edge.. A few minutes introduction might be good.

Hired four bikes to travel round the lake. Good service and information but bikes could have been in slightly better condition most had clunky gears and my brakes squealed but didn't do too much to slow me down. Great way to see the lake and at €18 to hire a bike for a full day, seemed reasonable.

Did a guided downhill mountain bike ride down Semnoz with Antoine, what a great experience. They spoke English and were super helpful. Antoine was very knowledgeable about the trail and helping provide guidance about which lines to take,etc, and what a fun character he is - he made the whole ride experience a lot of fun. It’s a great value to get a solid downhill bike with good components, all the gear, shuttle to top of the mountain, and a knowledgeable guide to lead the way down and have all necessary tools for any trail repairs. I highly recommend Takamaka to any serious riders looking for a rental/guided ride around Annecy.

Rented two bikes for 24hrs €18 each. Included helmets, locks, puncture kit and a basket if you wanted it. We were able to take them away at 5pm ready to use next day as we had an indoor garage at hotel to secure them overnight. Cycled around the lake - clockwise from Annecy. Lovely route - gears were a bit clunky but I got used to them and could use the full range. Comfortable bikes. Great service in the shop and English speaking which helps us with our limited French.
