A Must Do

Quite an impressive place. Numerous docents took you around and explained the history of the estate. Also there was a recording to rent to listen to extra explanations of the grounds and out buildings.

Great piece of history

We visited here in August and were surprised how large the complex was. If you wanted to spend 4+ hours, you could easily do that. Was a good side trip during our stay in Nashville

Beautiful property and amazing history

Worth a visit, not expensive and great military discount. Amazed that most of the furniture inside actually belonged to Andrew Jackson. The interior is very nice and the guides are very knowledgeable. The gardens and grave sites beautiful. Very educational
