About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- WilliamM56110 contributionsOverratedIt was good because we have never been there and didn't have to drive through the congestion but key west in general is a tourist trap and way overrated. The narrator on the bus was making people pay him cash $20 per seat for the front seats on the bus which was very unprofessional and a big scam. Overall we are glad we did it to see it but would never go back.Written 7 January 2025
- bevmN9678GN0 contributionsGreat tour guide! The tour guide was fantastic! I would have liked to know that your company was shuttling us from Ft Lauderdale to pick up another bus from Miami. If I’d known this I would have just gotten a hotel in Miami.Written 29 November 2024
- Snowbird_Cruzer0 contributionsNice relaxing tripIt was a great trip. We had never been to Key West, so we just walked around, went to the Southernmost Point, and window shopped in both directions. Ate and drank our way up Duval Street. The ride was very comfy, and a great view from the Upper Deck of the bus. The driver was very good, and our host was very nice and informative. He made sure everyone was t taken care ofWritten 15 November 2024
- brucebD4181FN0 contributionsThe Bus saga!Going with the good point of view first. Any day you can spend in Key West and not have to drive back and forth is a fun time. Just sit back and enjoy the views. But I highly doubt we will take this option again, for several reasons. 1. I knew it was about 3.5 hours one way from our starting point in Ft Lauderdale. But when you add in another almost 3 hours on a shuttle bus running around for pickups in Miami, before even getting to the tour bus. So basically 11-12 hours of driving time. I wish the web site tour description helped prepare possible patrons for this longer day. 2. No wi-fi on the bus and over half of the charger ports didn't worked. 3. It was a nice stop about half way down the Keys, southbound for a food and restroom break. It would have been fantastic for the same on the northbound trek. Problems with the onboard restroom on the return trip was a big problem (see #4 for additional info). 4. After an afternoon in Key West, some of which are harder on some than others. Naturally someone will be late getting back to the bus. I wish they would have taken another 5 minutes on the street so they could have gotten sick out there and not on the bus. Basically the restroom was unusable on the entire trip back, the one with no rest stop from above. 5. Luckily we were getting off at the first stop in Miami, which we didn't know until about 15 minutes before when the tour guide announced that. So off the bus and into a shuttle to get us back to the Ft. Lauderdale. Figured we could just ask the driver for a restroom stop where it was easy and convenient. He didn't speak any English and we don't speak Spanish.Written 11 September 2024

- Charles I0 contributionsKey West tourThe trip started a-little rough we were a few minutes late to the pickup location and not contacted by the tour guide when they left. We would have told him that we were paying for parking and would be there shortly. I did not have time to contact your office until we arrived at the meeting place. Your office provided us with the address of a hotel we could meet the bus at in Miami. That process was a bit of an inconvenience for us but the rest of the trip and tour was very pleasant.Written 14 April 2024

- D3733HQelaineh0 contributionsLong buss ride, but glad I wentIt was a long journey for a short amount of time there, but worth it I think. We got picked up in Ft. Lauderdale at 5:30 am and didn't get to Key West till after noon. There were a lot of stops in Miami. We had a car and could have almost driven there and back in that time seeing as how we left our condo at 4:45 am. But it was nice to be able to leisurely look out the window and listen to the guide (Louis), who did a great job narrating. We had planned on doing the on/off trolley once we got there, but decided to do the glass bottom boat instead. No time for both. So glad we did as it was really hot and the boat ride was nice and cool. We had time before to walk to the southern most point and get a picture (plan to stand in line - we waited about 20 minutes). We took an Uber back to board the boat on time ($9.15). After the boat ride we had time for dinner and drinks, stopped for an ice cream, and got back on the bus. I'm glad I got to see Key West. Definitely wouldn't have driven it ourselves in one day. Just be aware that you will not be able to see and do much since there are long lines to get into see things like the Hemingway House.Written 14 March 2024

We had an awesome tour guide that picked us right up and dropped us off at a hotel close to our Airbnb. The drop off in Key West was in the middle of everything and you get over 6 hours to do your own thing! So much cheaper than renting a car for the day, and we also didn’t have to worry about driving or parking. He also gave us tips, but most importantly, allowed us to sleep to/from Key West. It is a long day, but worth it. The bus was comfortable, and had adjustable A/C. Only downside was that there wasn’t cup holders or anywhere on the bus to charge our phones, but we were able to charge our phones at a restaurant while we ate, so it worked out. We got picked up at 7am and got back around 9:30pm. I would totally recommend this for anyone vacationing in Miami who want to spend the day in Key West!

Our family has got nice and memorable expressions from this full-day trip from Miami. The bus driver was professional, he arrived at the pickup location on time, the road to/from Key West was a breath and we came back to Miami earlier than expected. However, there was no tour guide on the bus (the driver made occasional comments on some placed we were passing by but that's not considered as a "Narrated tour"). The total time we spent in Key West was around 6 hours which seemed OK for the first time (we will definetely come back!). I would recommend this tour as an affordable and "no hassle" way to experience Key West without a car. Also, they offer a discount when you buy "optional" Key West activities from the driver.

First let me start off with the positive which is this is a great price to be taken from Miami Beach to Key West. They pick you up near where you are staying. They were about 20 or 30 minutes late picking us up and I had called the number given however no one answered and I left a message. Come to find out the bus had been sitting a few blocks down that whole time but we did not realize they were waiting on other customers before picking us up or we would’ve just walked down to that meeting point.
The bus was comfortable and because of Covid they attempted to space us out appropriately. They did make sure everyone had masks on and temperature checked.
We sat in the front area and noticed a lot of lights were on the dashboard lit up. We picked up everyone except for the last two guests and the bus driver and the coordinator only spoke in Spanish and we were not sure what was going on but she didn’t announced that we were going to switch buses because he did not feel safe using the bus that we had. Fair enough.
We then switch buses and begin our journey. The bathroom was not clean and had no toilet paper. The coordinator went from seat to seat selling different attractions in Key West. She was very enthusiastic until we told her that we were renting mopeds and would not need any attractions and she had a complete face change and just walked off. I am sure she gets a pretty good commission selling the expensive attractions.
On our way to Key West we pulled off the road to a breakfast spot and was herded in very quickly We are most breakfast deals were around eight to $10. I believe cash only. We had less than 30 minutes to get a whole busload of people through the line and completely finish eating and back on the bus.
Once we arrived in Key West we spent a wonderful day there and at the end of the day after many many warnings that the bus would leave people who were late we actually ended up waiting 30 or 40 minutes on people and we’re late getting back.
Finally, our bus kept stalling and outside of Miami it broke down completely. There were no announcements made and nobody conveyed what was going on as we watch the bus driver and another gentleman outside the bus laughing and talking and smoking. Finally someone spoke up and said should I call an Uber or what is going on? We had already sat on the bus for about 40 minutes. The coordinator then finally tells us a bus is on its way. So on a very busy interstate we had to get off of the bus and walk a very narrow path on the interstate to get on to the next bus. So be warned… Both buses that we were on either we’re going to break down or did break down. Also know if you do not speak Spanish you are in the minority and things are not quickly conveyed.
The pictures are blurry because I was mostly taking video which I cannot figure out how to load here.

Thank you for your review! We do apologize for the issues you experienced with the bus breaking down. We do our best to conduct timely maintenance on all our coaches; however, they may occasionally break down due to factors outside of our control. Normally when this happens we try our best to ensure the customer still enjoys the 6 hours they were promised in Key West, which I believe was the case during your trip. It does seem that communication regarding the next steps once the bus broke down was non-existent, so we appreciate you bringing this up to our attention and will ensure that we improve if a similar situation arises in the future.
Regarding the guide ignoring you after you expressed your intention of not purchasing activities offered, that it is completely unacceptable to us. Our guides are meant to improve the passenger's experience in any and every way possible whether they decide to purchase extra activities or not. We appreciate you bringing this issue up to our attention and will work with the guide in question to ensure better service in the future.
Thanks for traveling with us!

Our guide, David, was great. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. I would give him 5 stars. However, we had several issues with this trip. The bus was old and very uncomfortable. My seatbelt was broken as was my foot rest. The windows were filthy, especially the window by our seats. It had a white film on it like soap that had dried on and hadn't been washed off. We asked if it was possible to have the window cleaned so that we could see out the window. It never got cleaned. This is a very scenic trip, yet we were unable to enjoy it because the windows were so dirty. We also ended up in the last two seats on the bus so we didn't have a view on the right side because of the restroom. Our guide offered to move people so we wouldn't have to sit there, but we didn't want to inconvenience anyone. The issue was that there were several single riders who sat in seats and put their backpacks on the other seat. While I understand this, it seems that they need to figure out a way to seat single riders or odd numbered groups so that nobody has to sit in the last seats. Those seats don't recline, have a poor view, and on this bus, were broken. The young men in front of us reclined the seats the entire way, basically having their seat about 6 inches from our chests. Very uncomfortable. The other issue was that they didn't drop us off at our pick up spot. They picked us up at a hotel across from where we were staying, but they dropped us off about a half a mile away from our hotel. We assumed that they would be returning us to our original pick up spot. We were never informed that this was not the case. We had to walk back to our hotel which was difficult because i had an injured knee which made walking difficult. They said that they couldn't drop us off closer because of the trees on the street, but that wasn't the case at all. I think they just did it to save time. Key West was great, but the trip was disappointing. We were looking forward to having a nice bus ride to Key West and enjoying the scenery, but we were unable to do that. At the very least, they should make sure that the windows are cleaned and that the seatbelts and foot rests are in working order.

Thank you for your review. We do our best to keep the bus clean and in working order for all of our passengers, however, I can see that this wasn't the case for you. For this, we apologize and we will make sure that we inspect the coach better after washing.
As far as the seats being broken, it is up to the passengers to inform us if things are malfunctioning otherwise we have no way of knowing what needs repair. We thank you for the information and will make sure the repairs are completed.
Our sitting works on a first come first serve basis, however, solo passengers should not be taking up two seats. You did mention that the driver offered to have some of them moved which would have opened up space for your party to seat in better seats.
I am unsure where your pickup and dropoff location was, but during dropoff, we normally stay in Collins Ave so as to expedite the dropoff process and get everyone back in a timely manner. The drop off is normally within a block or two of the pickup location. We do our best to advise passengers that they are going to be dropped off at a different location so that there are no surprises at the end of the day. We do apologize if you were not informed of this.

Had a blast seeing Key West on this trip. I didn't book any additions in my trip so I cannot speak to the snorkeling or trolley excursions. But the bus ride itself was prompt and comfortable. Manuel was a speedy driver and navigated the super busy SoBe streets smoothly and safely as we drove south to Key West. There were A LOT of reckless driver but Manuel did a great job keeping us safe and in time. The tour guide Luis was also very helpful. Luis told us fun facts abt the Keys as we drove down and he was very knowledgeable about where restrooms were located, and ensuring that we did NOT get lost in the Keys or left behind. Everyone was able to make it safely back to the bus after our day in Key West was over.
Luis also did a great job of making sure that everyone was picked up in Miami Beach so that no one missed out in the trip. We left Key West around 5 and made it back to Miami Beach by 10pm. We were a slightly smaller group than normal so it was easier for us to make it to Key West quickly since there weren't as many pickups in Miami Beach. We arrived in Key West a bit early- about 11am. In the drive down, we stopped in a Mcdonald's and we're were able to grab some breakfast.
There is also a CVS across the street from the Mcdonald's which was a life saver for buying any last minute things. The CVS is WELL stocked- sun hats, sandals, hygiene items, sunscreen, etc. I was able to grab an Iphone charger at the CVS because I forgot to bring mine. The bus has outlets for charging devices and the AC wasn't too cold but I'd rec a sweater or jacket if you get cold easily. The bus also had a bathroom but I didn't use it.
Drop off was easy and we were taken back to the same spots where we originally boarded in Miami. Door to door pickup and drop off was very convenient.
Again, I did NOT purchase any additional add ons to my booking- I only had pickup and drop off included in my booking so I recommend reading other reviews to help you decide if adding other activities to your booking is a good idea for you.
Areas for improvement: the windows in the bus were dirty in some areas and it would be nice if the windows were cleaned also that we can take videos and pics. However, the tour guide mentioned that the bus had been egged by some ppl in South Beach a few days prior so that is probably why the windows were dirty in certain areas.

My friends and I spent about 5 hours on a bus that smelt like straight pee! there were chairs that couldn't even sit upright and we're completely laid back down after we got there we were supposed to go on a catamaran and go snorkeling. we take a our boat ride out then we get there we can't go snorkeling because there's lightning and thunder 12 miles away. We take the hour back then they expect everybody to stand in line and get a refund in the hot ass sun it was like a 100 plus degrees. then we have to take the same bus back. We wasted a whole day of our vacation on this BS to only get back 80 of the 200 we spent. So basically we paid 120 to ride on a bus that smelt like pee for 10 plus hours. Like most ppl we were paying for a hotel in Miami. So in total we were out 560 dollars 360 for the bus ride for 3 of us and the 200 I paid for a hotel that we could of enjoyed more then this horrible experience.

The bus trip to the Keys was good and our tour guide was nice, we found out half way to the keys that the snorkel trip we had previously booked was cancelled. However previous to making the booking we had asked if we would get a full refund and we were told we would. We then booked to go on a trolley tour as that was the only other activity running that day except jet-skiing. The trolley tour was lovely and our guide was brilliant but was extremely over priced at $45. The paint also smudged off the side of the trolley and on to my friends clothing which left a green stain. We then got back only to discover that we would only get a $29 refund each for the snorkeling even though the cancellation was not on our part, we were told we would get a full refund, and the price difference between a booking for only a bus and a booking for a bus and snorkel was $70 difference each before tax. Feeling very frustrated and ripped off that we didn’t even get half of the money back that we should have gotten. The trip definitely was not worth the almost $400 we ended up spending! My recommendation is definitely don’t book ANY extra activity before you get on the bus or they will rip you off. You do get the option once on the bus to add join any activity booking, however bring cash as it is cheaper that way. Also I suggest to tour the area on your own in a golf cart or a bike instead of paying the over priced amounts for a trolley tour. And only go if the weather is 100% fine if you are planning on doing any water activities. We managed to arrive back to the hotel by about 10pm in Miami which was lovely. Such a bummer that an alright day had to be spoilt by the cost of activities and lack of refunds. I’m sure if it was a fine day and this cancelling of stuff didn’t occur then it would be a much higher rating.

I was picked up at my Hotel in North Beach. We drove 5.5 hours to Key West. We had about 6 hours in Key West. My Glass bottom boat trip was canceled due to wind. I was able to find a sailing charter for 60.00.
The sailing charter was worth giving an A+
Key West overall was worth Giving an A+
The Seafood at A and B Lobster was worth giving an A+
Key Lime Pie was A+
It really was 11 hours of bus ride though.. If I had to do it over I would take a bus or rental car to Key West and stay for at least 1 or 2 nights.. The hotels start around 200.00 per night, but the experience of Key West makes it worthwhile.

We've spent a great day at Key West. The bus ride was great - the guide was crystal clear in instructions given and also quite humourus. We were offered extra activities like riding a boat with glass bottom or snorkling (be prepared ATMs charge 5$ fee if you forget to bring cash beforehand!).

Does the snorkeling add-on end early enough to do another activity like go to a restaurant or ride jet skis in Key West?

We didn't do snorkling as we were interested in taking the trolley ride to take a tour of key west for sight seeing and going to a restaurant. But, snorkling itself can take upto 5 hours. So, don't think you've enough time to do other activities since you've to be back to the bus by 5:30 pm to take the return trip.

It should come with a pick up from your hotel. Contact the tour company before you book.
