      A fun day!
Great tour! Our guide, Jim, was very knowledgeable and entertained us with great stories of the history of Scotland. The weather didn’t cooperate, however, it didn’t stop us from having a wonderful day. I’d highly recommend this tour

      Glencoe
Jim was an excellent tour guide for us for our day trip to the stunning Glencoe He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and fun! He showed the Canadian ladies some wonderful Scottish hospitality! The trip was great despite the rain but Jim made it work and planned the stops accordingly. Highly recommended and will come back and take another trip.

      Amazing experience
Our tour guide Jim was amazing, he’s a very knowledgeable man. The views were also breathtakingly beautiful! We weren’t able to go inside Inveraray Castle due to it being closed during the fall but the town was just as great. Kilchurn was also closed due to reconstruction but Jim made up for it by giving us more time to explore. This is a must go trip for those wanting to explore the towns and the highlands.

      Wonderful experience!
I had a great time during the tour! Our guide was Karen and she did a wonderful job telling the old tales of Scotland. I booked the 5 day tour to the Orkney islands, which was quite a drive, but due to the stories told in advance, which I found useful because at every stop I would already have background information, the time flew by. The program is quite packed, however Karen did take our opinion into consideration and made changes when we asked. I will book another tour with Scotland's Wild Tours!

      Highlight of our honeymoon!
My wife and I went on the 3-day Highlands tour as part of our honeymoon trip. We both can say that it was the highlight of the 10 days that we spent in Scotland. One of the main reasons we chose to book with "Scotland's wild" was the group size of the tours. We wanted to make sure that we would have a personal experience with tour guides and whoever else we were with instead of being rushed from location to location. We had seven people in our group. Throughout the three days we grew closer, and by the end I couldn't imagine the trip without any of them. Our tour guide James was definitely the best part of the tour other than the beautiful locations that he took us. He provided us with a local standpoint on many things as he grew up in Scotland himself. You created a warm and welcoming environment for everyone, and made sure that we all got to do things that we want to do even if they weren't on the official itinerary. All in all I can safely say that my wife and I made the right decision when deciding to book a tour with "Scotland's Wild." And when we come back eventually we intend on booking with them again as well as telling anyone else that gets the chance to go to Scotland to go out of their way to have the experience of a lifetime through this company.

Glencoe and the Highlands of Scotland
I had an absolutely fantastic time on the Glencoe and The Highlands tour with Derek. Stunning scenery, great company, a chance to stretch our legs and explore the landscape, as well as listen to some classic Scottish tunes. Derek is a top-class guide - warm, friendly and super knowledgeable about everything from the history to the flora and fauna of the area, to the best times to hit viewpoints to avoid the crowds. It felt like a day out with pals, rather than a stuffy, organised tour. I'll definitely be keen to take another trip with Scotland's Wild next time I visit.

Derek and Ailsa are Magical Guides!
We did a the 3-day Isle of Skye tour and were blessed with guides Derek and Ailsa. They literally felt like family at the end of the weekend. We saw SO much and learned a lot of history and culture along the way (we've had tour experiences in the past where you're just sort of dropped off and don't get much by way of actually learning about what you're seeing). Both Derek and Ailsa were incredibly knowledgeable and really took the time to answer questions and share their culture with us. They were also very sensitive to different ability levels on the trip, so no one ever felt left out. It was a wonderful mix of castles, nature, lore, and more. The trip was maximized to see a lot, but we never felt over-extended. I truly cannot recommend this company and this specific tour more highly. We had a group WhatsApp during the trip to stay in communication, and I've kept in touch with the other tour-goers since the journey—it really was a special experience and once-in-a-lifetime trip, made possible through the warmth and professionalism of Derek and Ailsa. Thank you, Derek and Ailsa!

Another Fantastic Tour through Beautiful Scotland
This was the second trip that my sister and I went with Scotland's Wild while visiting from the US. We had a different tour guide, James, who warmly welcomed us at Buchanan St Station in Glasgow. To name a few sites: we went to Loch Lomond, Luss, Inverary Castle, and the Standing Stones. It was an absolutely beautiful and informative drive through breathtaking scenery. James was an excellent tour guide! A warm and friendly person to spend the day with. He also was very knowledgeable and gave us tons of historical and cultural information. The whole day was so enjoyable. Definitely recommend.

      A Tour to Remember
My husband and I took the 3 day Isle of Skye and Highlands trip with Jim and absolutely loved it. Each day was absolutely incredible and we learned so much about this wonderful country’s history and natural beauty. We’ve traveled a lot over the years and have good tours and “meh” tours. This one ranks among the very, very best. If you want to see Skye and the Highlands this is the group! From the booking to the tour itself, everything made this trip memorable for us. Thanks to Jim for sharing 3 days with us and showing us this incredible country! We’ll never forget this trip. Incredible!

We booked the standing stone, castles and Scottish Highlands 1 day tour.
Scotland’s Wild was so far the only operator we found to offer tours to Kilmartin Glen with Dunadd Fort and standing stones. Unmissable for anyone interested in the prehistoric and early days of Scotland.
The tour stood out through walks to the historic sites being able to take in the breathtaking scenery and atmosphere. Another plus is the small group of max. 8.
It wouldn’t have been such a fantastic unforgettable day if not for our amazing guide and driver Cal.
With his love for Scotland, his profound knowledge about Scotland’s history and nature and his humour he made this day!
    Thanks

This was an amazing tour unlike any other. We stopped at the standing stones, Inverarary castle, Kilchurn castle and original Kingdom of Scotland. The small group tour allowed for lots of discussion with our guide Calum who loves Scottish history and was super knowledgeable. He was the sweetest guide always looking after everyone. Couldn’t have asked for a better, more unique Scottish experience. Highly recommend!!

The tour was beyond my expectations! Laura was our guide and she is what made it spectacular! She was full of information and engaging to the entire wonderful group of us. The stops were timed perfectly and gave the right amount of time to explore and see everything. Honestly, I will be booking a private tour with Laura anytime I come back to Scotland. The tour company is the only one I will recommend moving forward. Laura is a priceless gem and made the day unforgettable.
