- 925deem0 contributionsLovely way to spend an eveningMy daughter and I are locals but you know how you never go do tourist things in your own town? This was so worth it! When I looked it up, we’d never been to any of the 4 places so we figured, let’s try it. Fabulous! And, now we’ve got new places to go back to. Faye, our tour guide was the best, lots of historical info, engaging, kept us on track, a gem for sure! It’s an easy walk, the 1st place had the best shrimp & grits I’ve had, the drinks were delicious, the last dessert was divine! Great group too, enjoyed all of them👍😁. Thanks!!Written 12 July 2024

We really enjoyed this tour. Rose is a host of knowledge about Greenville and her enthusiasm about the city is contagious. Definitely come hungry to this tour because you will be very fed...we just had appetizers for lunch and dinner because our brunch was so generous. I appreciated that Rose is limiting tour sizes due to pandemic and I felt safe. I also liked that this tour started early leaving a full day for exploring Greenville afterwards. Rose happily offered recommendations for dining in Greenville after the tour and all her recommendations were spot on. I look forward to taking her cocktail tour next time we’re in Greenville.

This tour is wonderful. We visited 3 great restaurants and each served excellent food. We had to pace ourselves to make it through. Greenville is beautiful in the fall.
Main Street was holding their weekly Saturday farm market, with the added twist of being Halloween weekend. Parents brought their kids in costume, to trick or treat the booths. The vendors were in costume.
Our tour guide, Rose Woelker, did a great job explaining interesting details about the buildings, the rebirth/revitalization of the city, and history of the area. We loved the mice. (Yes, mice.)

My husband humored me with my Valentine gift to him—the Greenville Breakfast Tour. We both had an exceptional time. Each of the three stops shared exceptional fare, and Rose gave insightful information about the city.. Now my husband is telling everyone that the way to get to know a city is to have a foodie tour!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast tour which we did the weekend before Christmas. Rose was terrific! She gave us lots of Greenville history and was completely organized. The stays at each restaurant were perfectly timed. Not too long at any of them. The three restaurants we visited were excellent (Crepe du Jour, Maple Street Biscuits and Roost). LOTS of food!! It was really nice to just walk in and sit down at a reserved table when at least one of the restaurants had a long line out the door!
Rose also gave us some advice on other restaurants to try as well as great shopping tips. I highly recommend this tour. And if you pay attention, you might even win a prize at the end! We LOVE our t-shirts and wear them all the time, Rose! :) Thank you for a wonderful time!

What a wonderful way to start our visit in Greenville! We met Faye and the rest of our group at the Poinsett and enjoyed a nice morning of delicious food and drinks, while learning a little history of the area. Faye was extremely knowledgeable and had some fun little anecdotes to share. Everyone on the tour was visiting and also gave some great recommendations to help us plan the rest of our weekend!

My husband and I are in Greenville for the long weekend and took the Saturday Breakfast Tour. Our guide Rose was fantastic. As we walked to the restaurants she was telling us about some history of Greenville and giving us some very interesting insights of the Westin Hotel, where we first met up. I highly recommend this to anyone that comes to Greenville. She also offers some other Foodie Tours, so please check it out.

Book early to reserve your spot for this excellent tour! Faye was a spectacular guide and delighted us with her historical stories of Greenville and the development of downtown. The 3 local restaurants served ample and delicious portions. This tour is a must, especially for first time visitors to greenville.

My husband and I were in Greenville for the SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament. A few years back we discovered ‘foodie” tours and could not wait to take this tour because it was brunch tour - something we had not done before. We received full portions at the three stops, not just a tasting. The food was excellent at each stop and history provided by Rose was delightful and interesting. Rose took great care of us. We will recommend her to friends. This is by far one of the best food tours we have taken!
