Overview
Hear Charleston’s spooky history on this haunted horse and carriage ride. Part ghost tour and part history tour, this evening outing does double duty as it takes you to top Charleston sights such as the Mills House and Old Exchange Building, navigating cobblestone alleyways and twisting side streets with ease. Your guide entertains you with haunted Charleston history as you make your way through the heart of the Holy City.
What to Expect
Make your way to Old South Carriage in downtown Charleston at least 15 minutes before departure to begin your tour. Board a comfortable 16-passenger carriage and begin to trot through the 15-block historic core of Charleston. Unlike walking tours, your horse and buggy covers more of the city in less time—meaning more ghost stories for you.

As you make your way to spooky attractions such as St. Michael’s Episcopal Church and the Circular Congregational Graveyard, your guide entertains you with history and folklore from Charleston’s past. Learn about pirates, prisoners, and dungeon residents who shaped Charleston’s early years.

The tour concludes at original departure point.

Wonderful Guide

Sophie did an amazing job on our Haunted Tour!! She was so expressive, informative, knowledgeable and friendly. Jack was great at getting us through the streets and even taking a snooze when he got a chance. They are definitely a dynamic duo!! Great job!!
