About
The 80 miles of the Columbia River Gorge’s steep rocky sides offer some of the most spectacular scenery in the world: pounding waterfalls, eagles, century-old trees, ferns, flowers, ancient rocks. This half-day of exploring and meditating on wonders with very short hikes and visits to overlooks and vistas will have you gasping in awe. We'll visit waterfalls and overlooks, selected by our guides to include both the most iconic, like the unmissable Latourell Falls, a stunning plunge-style falls that is one of the most iconic in Oregon, and the special. Depending on weather conditions, this could include a few small hidden waterfalls and another spectacular plunge-style falls with columnar basalt. We'll also tell you stories, not just of the geology and botany and the oft-repeated tales of pioneers and road-builders, but also the old stories we've learned, of gods and animal spirits and the Beaver princess tragically turned into a waterfall.

Must do tour!
Sep 2021
Highlight of our trip! This tour made it so much easier to enjoy the area and falls without navigating and driving ourselves. Sarah was so accommodating when we had to made some last minute changes, and we so appreciated it! The entire staff was extremely friendly. They offer so much additional information you would not get on your own. Thank you again!

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about everything. Giving us information on things like the graffiti on the walls during the drive to the falls or the different kind of trees and flowers that are on the trail.

Awesome way to experience the Falls and nature
Aug 2021 • Couples
Eddie was an incredible guide. His passion for the Portland area was really evident. Super knowledgeable and really made the trip even more interesting. The waterfalls are all unique, and learning about their different stories and geological formations made the trip even better. I think the 1/2 day is the perfect length of time for an outing like this. Lots of frequent stops with the ability to walk around and do mini-hikes was a nice way to get a little exercise in as well!

Great way to see the falls!
Aug 2021 • Solo
This was a GREAT way to see some of the coolest waterfalls around the Columbia River without having to figure out where to park, get from place to place, etc. The tour guides were knowledgeable about the area and we even got to dip our toes in a couple of the waterfall basins! There was about 2-3 miles of hiking over the course of the tour, and it was well worth it!
