Get off the tourist path and experience the City of Roses like a local on this guided urban bike tour, which allows you to avoid city traffic, get some exercise, and see attractions up close. Learn about local history and urban design as you cruise along Portland's urban bike paths, stopping to appreciate parks, scenic vistas, and well-known neighborhoods such as Chinatown and the bustling Pearl District. 

What to Expect

Your tour starts downtown, where you meet your guide and select your bike. Then, pedal through China Town to Tom McCall Waterfront Park and stop at the Japanese American Historical Plaza, where you can learn about Portland's history and appreciate views of the city.

Next, see Portland's green spaces and towering trees as you cruise along the city's bike-friendly Greenways (designated bike boulevards), past viewpoints overlooking the city skyline.  

Then cycle through South Park Blocks, a green corridor in the heart of the city, to appreciate the area's creative urban design and learn about the future of Portland's community spaces. 

Complete your tour with a visit to the Pearl District, a foodie neighborhood full of craft breweries and different types of restaurants.

I took the 10 am bike tour and was greeted kindly by the employee. The tour itself was great. We stayed at a comfortable pace and rode thought out the city. Would recommend.

What a great way to see a new city!

Bike ride was super easy and relaxing! Great views of the waterfront. Bike were comfortable and gears easy to use. Tour guide wasn't the most charismatic, but knew a lot and had lots of great recommendations. I thought the tour would have a bit more...More

yes, PDX airport is a 20-25 minute ride to downtown Portland. Probably $20 Uber or Lyft.
