Went to do a bike tour with my wife, Sam was incredibly informative and the pace was easy going and easy to take in all the details he was presenting to us. It was raining pretty hard the whole day, so rain gear was provided for us as well which was immensely appreciated. If

I enjoy biking tours in most major cities. But Portland is a very bike oriented city, so a bike tour is a priority. The company maintains their bikes well and the tour guide did a great job. The ride was physically easy and covered a reasonable amount of downtown highlights.

I'm an avid urban cyclist and, while this wasn't a super athletic ride, the route and commentary made for a really enjoyable time. This absolutely feels like the way to explore Portland. They were kind enough to indulge my singlespeed fetish on an otherwise geared-bike tour,

This tour was just way too slow for me and my adult daughter. We did it on a Saturday and there was so much time waiting for others that lagged behind. I get that this isn't probably a tour for an avid bicyclist, but maybe they should consider different levels. This tour

Hi Marie, Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback and joining us on the Essential Portland Bike Tour. Here at Cycle Portland we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver tours to people of all biking abilities. On our website we outline all the locations we visit as well as provide descriptions of the tours. When our participants sign up for, “7-8 Miles easy paced riding with multiple stops providing insight and info into Portland’s vibrant culture,” that’s exactly what they get! Although it would be great to curate tours toward the needs and abilities of each individual rider, it’s important that we make sure everybody biking feels safe and secure. Cycle Portland staff encourage folks to ask questions throughout tours to provide participants with as much information as possible. The best way to enjoy a ride to your specifications is to create one yourself. We encourage visitors to rent bikes to take in the city at their own pace. Rentals include maps of the city and directions. Our 5 star rated staff here love to share recommendations to help guests make the most of their experience. Again, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We actively work to improve based on your feedback, and appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we can do better. Jesse
