Two week photo tour of Scotland
I highly recommend this photo tour of Scotland with Christian and Regula. Scotland is a beautiful country and the tour was well organized. Scotland was the third photo tour with Christian to different parts of the world and I have already signed up for two more tours. Need I say more.

    The stars were fantastic
Our guide, Doug, took us to the desert spot that had a pond. The spot was stupendous! I was shooting with a Canon 5D and my son had a Sony RX100. Doug helped him figure out how to do long exposures, and some of his were better than mine. Very wonderful guided experience.Worth every cent it cost.

First time photographing the Milky Way
Douglas Bowser picked me up at my hotel and took me to a couple awesome locations at Sparks Lake. Doug has a lot of experience and was very helpful in guiding me on night photography best practices. I hope to be back in the future and I'll be sure to book another tour.

Good fun and plenty of camera info from the pro!
The photographer gave us lots of locations to choose from (waterfalls, Smith Rock, Cascade Lakes). We chose the Sparks Lake Sunrise for the reflected mountain views. It was spectacular! Wife loved it and all she had was her phone. Great to learn about the instructors favorite landscape f-stops and low light techniques. He also suggested some processing techniques ( I enjoy HDR) and great phone app for the wife who downloaded it right there. Will do this again next time with my daughter who loves photography!

Night Photography of the Milky Way and Sparks Lake
Christian and Zack were the instructors for this exceptional class. The range of participant’s skills were varied but Zack and Christian were able to handle all questions expertly. Regardless of your photography background, these classes will teach you photographic and processing procedures which will significantly elevate your experience and competency. Great fun! I plan on attending future classes with this group

Photography experience from professional photographer Christian Heeb
I had the privilege of a photo tour with Christian. I must admit I was intimidated after seeing his incredible photography. However, shortly after meeting him, I felt most comfortable. It's a great gift to share your expertise with another; and I certainly appreciate that from Christian. I absorbed a great deal of tips and techniques in just a few short hours. He gave helpful advice; showing what settings worked best for the scene. It was as those I was a sponge absorbing as much as I can. Definitely suggest the tour to anyone wanting to grow in their knowledge of photography. I definitely will sign up if every they offer a class in my area. Thanks Christian!

Photography in Bend Oregon with Adam Schindlet
I can't say enough good things about my afternoon photography trip with Adam Schindler I can only say that it is an experience that I would highly recommend to others with a very high level of enthusiasm I told Adam that I was not even going to bring a camera but I just wanted to see how he took in the Horizon and the light in a complex settings of great natural beauty The basic point was how to appreciate a complex landscape in a beautiful region by "breaking it down" to its simplest elements of color and texture. This experience was not just a lesson in photography but an important lesson in life

Light Painting workshop at Fort Rock
It was a great experience that I would gladly repeat. The workshop takes a small number of photographers (8 max) to a Museum-Town near Bend (Oregon). We arrived there at around 6: 30 PM. The museum closed to the public but remaining open to us, so we had this cool place to ourselves. Sunset was at 8:45, so we had that extra time to scout the buildings and take shoots of details. The action really started at around 9:15 and lasted until 10:10 PM. During this lapse Christian gave us very useful advice and checked all the time to make sure that everyone has the correct settings and giving very useful advice on composition. All in all a very enjoyable experience for both advanced photographers or beginners. I got good pictures and, most importantly, had a great time, and all for a very reasonable price. It doesn't get better than this!

    The Amazing Blue Pool
Professional photographer Christian Heeb and his wife Regula guided us on a two miles hike along the McKenzie River to The Blue Pool. This small body of water natural deep blue color was even more dramatic as it reflected the intense colors of the fall foliage surrounding it. Light rain showers further enhanced the red and golden leaves, while overcast skies produced the perfect soft lighting. As always Christian was there offering photographic tips when needed and both he and Regula made sure that everyone traveled safely along the trail.

Grand Teton & Yellowstone Nat'l Parks
In May I participated with 5 others in a 7-day photo workshop led by David Cobb and Christian Heeb from Cascade Center of Photography. It was a superb workshop in every way! Friendly, extremely well organized, fun and educational. Gorgeous landscapes, numerous diverse mammals and birds and 2 very knowledgeable workshop leaders, all combined made for a truly memorable and enjoyable experience. The long days were jam packed with terrific photography, followed by good conversations over dinner among to participants and leaders. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone seriously interested in upping their nature and landscape photography skills and sharing a wonderful experience with like minded photography enthusiasts.

    Eastern Sierras week-long workshop
What an excellent week of photography! Everything was planned to get us to the best locations and during the best light of day. Lodging and transportation was adequate and restaurant meals were hearty and varied (not fast food chains.) Both group leaders, Christian Heeb and Sean Bagshaw, assisted with composition and technique throughout the day and gave overviews of each location so we knew what to expect before arriving. This photography workshop was worth every dollar.

    Eastern Sierra's
This was my first trip to the Eastern Sierra's. I wanted to visit a few places & get to learn photography at the same time. The instructors, Christian Heeb & Sean Bagshaw were a good team. Sean came early & scoped out the right places to shoot fall color. The eleven of us travelled in a van & a subaru station wagon together.Cristian & Sean took control of the wheels. The group quickly bonded well swapping travel stories & their latest gizmos. The instructors were getting feedbacks regularly from the group & changing the itinerary if needed. We stayed in good reputable hotels and ate in good restaurants. I would definitely go on a photo trip with them again. I recommend them highly.
