Epic afternoon sailing!
Oct 2020 • Family
A smooth, beautiful sail past the stunning cathedral cove and then to the marine reserve at gemstone bay. Where we saw some giant snapper. Kids had “THE BEST TIME!!” They asked when are we going back on “the yellow cat”.
Bring a hat that stays on your head! Otherwise you might loose it in the breeze :)
We had the best day! Including my 65 year old mum. She was right in her element on the bean bags with a drink in hand.

Awesome boat, awesome crew
Matt & Joe were really knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and they have a good sense humour to make the day fun. It was a very relaxed trip and I'd encourage everyone to sail with these guys :)

Fab time sailing on a cat
There’s something incredibly relaxing about sailing in a catamaran with Matt at the helm and Jo assisting him. It’s the best way to explore Cathedral Cove and the rugged Coromandel coastline. The fresh coffee and cheeky Pino Gris were an added bonus as were the snappers swimming beside us and the swim in the ocean. Highly recommend this. Defo 5⭐️.

Great sailing and great crew
Awesome morning out with Matt and Conner. Two superb ocean sailors and great company as well. Very relaxing sitting on bean bags under the sails as we cruised the coast.
Cannot wait to come back and sail foil 🤙

Being able to take part sailing
A fantastic morning sailing with Matt who is an experienced skipper. As a new novice sailer Matt was clear and encouraging letting me take the helm and explaining everything as we went along. I look forward to going out sailing with Matt again. Thank you for an informative relaxing sail around the beautiful coromandel.

What a great way to see Cathedral Cove!

Why go on an inflatable, when you can sail? We had a great morning sailing experience. We had a full crowd of 12 guests, plus Matt & Connor as a very experienced crew. It was a very comfortable ride with no concerns or discomfort, and the group dynamics were delightful, with the ability to meet and enjoy the company of other guests. The catamaran, a former racing boat, was very competent and got up to some nice sailing speed with moderate wind. We were served refreshments, and had the opportunity for swimming & snorkeling in the marine reserve.
