A comprehensive tour of the American side of Niagara Falls lets you see one of the world’s most iconic natural attractions from three vantage points. Take in aerial views from the observation deck at Skylon Tower, get close to Horseshoe Falls on the Maid of the Mist boat ride, and reach the closest accessible point of the falls at Cave of the Winds.
What to Expect
After hotel pickup, head to the Niagara Gorge and descend 175 feet (53 meters) to the observation deck at Cave of the Winds—the closest visitors can get to Niagara Falls (available May to October). Or, take in views from the Niagara Power Vista if visiting during the off season.

Continue to Skylon Tower and ascend 520 feet (158 meters) in a glass elevator to an observation tower. Appreciate incredible views of the Niagara River and all three waterfalls, Bridal Veil Falls, Horseshoe Falls, and the American Falls.

Come back down and don a poncho for the popular Maid of the Mist cruise, which takes your right past the falls from May through October. Off-season visitors get to visit the Niagara Adventure Theater for a movie about the falls instead.

The American Side tour is a half day or 4 hours long. The time savings in having everything done in advance for you is well worth it. Our guide was a great one also so highly recommended.

There is an Observation Tower on the American side and the Skylon Tower on the Canadian side. These are two different things. Depending on what type of package you buy and on which side of the Falls, you may or may not get... More
