Overview

Fly from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon on a helicopter tour that soars over the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon’s West Rim before going below the rim for a Champagne picnic. Choosing a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon means aerial views of the spectacular desert scenery, so you can take in the vast scale of the landscape as a pilot points out landmarks on the ground below.

What to Expect

Start with pickup at your hotel in Las Vegas, and transfer to Henderson Executive Airport to board a 7-passenger helicopter.

Lift off for the flight, soaring over the Nevada desert to Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam, landmarks that are especially dramatic from the air. Hover above the Grand Canyon’s West Rim and then fly straight into the canyon, descending far below the rim to a landing point on a private bluff.

Snap photos of the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon’s colorful rock walls before enjoying a picnic of Champagne, crackers, cheese, vegetables, and fruit in the shade of a traditional Native American ramada shelter.

When it’s time to return to Las Vegas, the pilot will follow a different route, flying low over the Black Canyon and an extinct volcano. Upon arrival at the airport, a driver will meet you for return transfer to your hotel.

No, we did not stop at the skywalk on our tour. We talked to friends that went to the skywalk and we were told you can't take a cell phone or your own camera and you have to buy the photos from their photographer. We thought... More
