About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- leahcQ8457NS0 contributionsAmazing tour with Montana Jack!Jack was our tour and he was phenomenal! Was so knowledgeable and you could tell how passionate he is about wildlife. He answered all of our a million questions and gave great recommendations for local spots. And the company itself was super helpful and patient with me emailing 20 times. 10/10 recommend!Written 31 October 2024
- kayc150 contributionsEverything we hoped for an more! This trip was a buck list trip for my family. I cannot even begin to share all the wonderful wildlife and beautiful scenery that we were able to view in two days. We met many people who shared they were not able to find half of the amazing things we saw. The tour company was responsive before during and after the trip. Brian Burrus, our tour guide, asked us what we wanted to see, and he delivered in every way. He knows Yellowstone and has a passion for wildlife viewing and took amazing photos which he shared with us. Out biggest goal was to view as many animals as possible. We saw bison (x so many we lost count), elk (many), pronghorns (many) , mule deer (many), white tail deer (a few) , bears (x6—3 grizzly and 3 black), mountain goats (x2) , fox (x3), wolves (a pack of 15—this was really awesome) , a coyote, snow shoe rabbits, a great horned owl, bald eagles (x2), grouse, Clark’s nutcracker birds, magpies, swans, chipmunks, red squirrels, and I am not even sure that is all of them. We also saw breathtaking waterfalls, geysers, hot (geothermal) springs/ geothermal pools, mud pots, a bears den, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, a beautiful sun rise over Yellowstone Lake and so much more. Thank you Brian and Casanova Guided Tours for wonderul family memories.Written 20 October 2024
- crimsonjoe19790 contributionsHighly recommend - Isaac was a fantastic guide!Such a great experience! We saw several animals, including a bear, bison, elk, pronghorn, and even an osprey. Isaac was a fantastic guide! Very knowledgeable, friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating. It was easy to tell how much he loved showing us around the park and giving us interesting info at the same time. Highly recommend Isaac as a guide!Written 9 October 2024
- clp831600 contributionsFirst Trip to YellowstoneOMG, Jack and Isaac were killer tour guides. Between the two of them we saw all wildlife, except for a moose and a wolf, so it was wonderful. We also saw the entire park and everything we wanted to see. Tauni was an amazing owner who helped me with so many questions we had. What a great company! Thanks for the greatest experience of our lives. When we come back, we will look you up again!Written 29 September 2024

- jessimudgett0 contributionsGreat experience with Casanova Yellowstone Guided ToursThis is probably the best tour we experienced during our Teton, Yellowstone, Glacier National parks trip. Jack, our guide, has more information in his young head than the four of us oldsters have combined. There is not a question about the park, its wildlife, or its natural wonders that he cannot answer. His enthusiasm for nature is contagious. He showed us the sites we wanted to see, kept an eye out for animals and made recommendations for things we might enjoy during our days visiting the park. We would highly recommend Casanova Guided Tours - particularly if Jack is representative of all of their staff.Written 26 September 2024
- Brian V0 contributionsGreat TourWe took the 2 day guided tour upper and lower loops. Brian took us on the upper loop and Jack took us on the lower. We couldn't have asked for better guides. They were both extremely knowledgeable and were great at finding everything we wanted to see.Written 21 September 2024
- Voyage547083202550 contributionsFabulous!!Fabulous trip. Our guide Jackson was very informative. Took us to all the spots with the best views. Highly recommend this your company.Written 20 September 2024
- Jen J0 contributionsEvening wildlife tour..worth every penny!!!We had a great experience with our tour guide Isaac…we saw so much wildlife, including moose which are pretty rare in the park. Isaac was so knowledgeable about the animals, Yellowstone history and Montana history. He was amazing and we learned so much! I have friends that are booking for next year and will highly recommendWritten 11 September 2024
- kylejhenry0 contributionsGreat time on lower loop Yellowstone. We couldn’t have had a better tour. We saw so much and our guide was fantastic. It is obvious everyone at the company enjoys their jobWritten 23 July 2024
- zaxes0 contributionsSpectacular!!I just got back from the joy of taking the two full day tour of Yellowstone. I am still on a high. The guides provided a knowledgeable insight for a full day with people that love Yellowstone and it glorious inhabitants and wonders. The imparted their enthusiasm of the natural wonders, the wild life and the history. This is definitely NOT your pre-recorded, follow the map get on and off the bus day. It is full of adventure and taking advantage of what Yellowstone shows of itself, taking advantage of the unexpected views of wild life and the environment. Their knowledge and good nature make the time fly by. I know I am beginning to sound like a "shill" but I have written reviews and given my opinions for many years. A check of my past reviews will show that "I call em like I see them". All of the guides are very capable. My personal feeling is that I would insist on Jack and/or Jackson to the extent of even moving the tour dates to get them. PS Jackson also has a major love for fly fishing (with photos to establish his "creds". However, Jack is not impressed with the hype and says he is the fisherman. (You may want to take two days and find out for your self)Written 21 June 2024
- karenlR206EQ0 contributionsAmazing Yellowstone Tour -- Highly Recommend! We absolutely LOVED our day with Isaac! He showed us all the popular spots but also some lesser known ones. And he could spot wildlife everywhere -- we saw tons of bison (including a baby), elk, a black bear, a grizzly and more! He was a fountain of knowledge and shared so much information about Montana, wildlife, Yellowstone, etc. He made the day both educational and FUN. Would highly recommend this tour!Written 17 June 2024
- Trip006127157020 contributionsBest Wildlife Tour Ever!We booked the Casanova Yellowstone Upper Loop Wildlife Tour. We hoped to see some animals. The tour far exceeded our expectations! Our private guide, Brian Burrus, was the best guide I have ever experienced. He was personable, knowledgeable, answered all our questiions, and was an obvious nature lover. And he went out of his way to show us what we asked to see. Within 15 minutes of our 6am departure, our road was blocked by a bison herd, complete with babies. The entire herd walked past us - many within 5 feet of both sides of our vehicle. A photographer's dream! As we continued on toward Lamar Valley, our guide was constantly on the lookout for wildlife. He would spot an animal we never saw, pull off the road, show us where it was, and help us to photograph it. He also took videos and pictures himself which he emailed to us later. We saw more wildlife than I ever imagined. There were 2 black bear sightings, one with 2 cubs. 3 young badgers. Four different wolf sightings. Several pronghorn antelope. Elk. A mountain goat clinging to a rock side. A Rocky Mountain sheep with her lamb running around. A pair of cranes with babies. A huge osprey nest with osprey in it. Many other birds. And hundreds of bison. He also pulled over for us to photograph the beautiful scenery. And finally, at the end of the tour, he even backtracked on his own to try to find a cell phone we left behind. We could not give this tour and Brian, our guide any higher recommendation. It was our dream come true.Written 4 June 2024
- rebeccadV3876LU0 contributionsOur guide Jack made our experience!Jack was amazing! So passionate about wildlife and conservation and Yellowstone! He was a wealth of knowledge. So impressive! He had answers to our questions plus interesting stories and tidbits. My only criticism is the cost of this venture. Way too highly priced.Written 20 October 2023
- T1077KNchristineb0 contributionsAmazing !Jackson was an exceptional tour guide. Very knowledgeable about every aspect of the park. We did the lower loop from 8 am to 3:30. I highly recommend Casanova Tours. The van was clean and they provided water and snacks .We sat and ate the lunch sandwiches provided with the tour at the Old Faithful Lodge while waiting for Old Faithful to erupt and were lucky to see beehive geyser erupt while we were there. Jackson was very friendly and sociable . We would come back and request him for the upper loop tour.Written 10 October 2023

Nice day spent in Yellowstone with a guide. Did a moderate hike up to Bunsen Peak. My only disappointment was we carried heavy backpacks and our guide did not suggest to us we wouldn’t need them - which we didn’t. And the tour states walking sticks are provided but they weren’t. We had our own which we would have brought if we’d known. But I overall we enjoyed the day except for those two things

Thank you for the feedback. I apologize that you were not provided trekking poles, which should have been the case. Glad to hear it was a nice hike.

Casanova Guided Tours guides were amazing! She made sure we were always having fun and provided a great lunch. I can't imagine a better way to get to know the park. She made sure she knew our fitness level and interest prior to the hike. She had the perfect hike picked out for us. I would recommend this adventure for anyone, single travelers to families...you won't go wrong!!! In fact, I will book another hike with her next time I am in Yellowstone!!

I took my 12 yo son with me to learn more about Yellowstone and go for a hike while vacationing from Georgia.I described our current activity levels for them to decide which hike was best suited for us. Sam conveniently and promptly met us near our hotel. We learned Sam had more than enough educational background and experience and that we were in safe and capable company. Our lunches and snacks had been thoughtfully prepared for our day. We were able to observe elk, bison, wolves, a coyote, a moose, a showdown between a black bear and a grizzly mom with her two cubs. We had an unforgettable day tailor made just for us.
