Overview
Discover some of the best bites in Minneapolis on this guided, 3-hour, small-group food tour. Venture off the beaten path and explore the Nicollet Island/East Bank neighborhood, located just across the Mississippi River from Downtown Minneapolis. Soak up Minnesota history, culture and architecture while visiting six of the best restaurants in the Twin Cities. Sample sausages, authentic Neapolitan pizza, traditional Greek desserts, local cheeses and more.
What to Expect
This food tasting and cultural walking tour begins at Kramarczuk’s, a Polish deli and restaurant featuring Eastern European staples and homemade sausages.

Explore the Nicollet Island neighborhood, where Minneapolis began, and stroll along the banks of the Mississippi River. Learn about its historical importance and stop at select restaurants along the way. Visit historic Chute Square, located near St. Anthony Main on the riverfront and home to the Ard Godfrey House, the oldest remaining wood frame home in the Twin Cities.

At each food stop, get an insider’s view and enjoy the local favorites at each establishment. Visit six locations, which could include sausages (the same ones that are served at Target Field, home of Major League Baseball’s Minnesota Twins), authentic Neapolitan pizza, traditional Greek desserts and local cheeses. Also, sample dumplings from two different cultures and enjoy locally made gelato.

There is plenty of metered street parking in the area. There are also parking garages along the river. When you sign up, they suggest a number of places to park within walking distance.
