Amazing tour, the best way to see dunedins beautiful peninsula
Rob was an awesome guide, shared a lot of great facts about the local landmarks and wildlife. The boat is really comfortable and spacious. The transfer was easy and well communicated and the tour was amazing, the water was beautiful and Rob was very accommodating to everyone on board. Would definitely do it again Cheers Rob!

Tour was called the combo tour and a really great day.
Rob and holly are great tour guides being knowledgeable and friendly while still being very professional. We had a fantastic tour that went from port Chalmers to Larnock castle then a couple of hours in Dunedin city after which we were collected and taken on a very informative wildlife cruise where we saw lots of different seabirds including the magnificent albatross. If you get the chance do this tour, you won't regret it.

Wonderful and memorable trip for us!
Rob was a knowledgeable and very personable tour guide/captain who shared the history, sites and wildlife of the area. I am so happy we went this route over a more crowded experience offered by the cruise ship (that happened to be sold out). This was perfect for the 3 of us who were lucky to connect with him. Highly recommend!!!

    Fantastic day out!!
We were in the area on a cruise ship. We contacted Rob at the last minute due to the time it took for our ship to clear NZ customs, he was more than happy to accommodate a last minute change of time for us. On the way over to the castle we watch as Rob also tried to catch some local fish which was great fun to experience. Holy picked us up and took us up to the Castle. The whole experience was so much more fun than just getting a traditional taxi to the castle!! On both trips to and from the castle we were the only guests on-board so felt like a private tour. Keep up the good work guys 😎

    Great!
We had a great time on our harbour and wildlife cruise. We were visiting for the day on a cruise ship and chose to do this activity as it would interest the adults and children. Once getting off the ship we only had to walk 5 mins around the corner to get on the boat. We had a great time learning about the area and seeing Sea Lions, Albatross and lots of other birds. This was heaps cheaper than booking similar excursions through the ship.

What a Great Way to Go
We arranged a return trip from Port Chalmers to Dunedin. Rob and the trip was fantastic. Way way better than a coach ride. Rob was spot on time for each leg and was a great host/captain. We cannot recommend highly enough Whenever we are back we will do their harbour cruise. Thanks so much Rob for great service and a pleasant “fast” trip ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

    Fabulous harbour & wildlife tour
Our family cruised to Dunedin in December - short walk from Port Chalmers to Back Beach where we were met by Rob to commence our harbour wildlife tour. Rob was very knowledgeable and provided lots of information about the area. We saw lots of wildlife - seals, albatross etc. our favourite was a fabulous sea lion on a little sandy beach and we were able to get so close! I can highly recommend this tour -most enjoyable. Thank you Rob.

Great option for Cruise excursion to see wildlife!
We were on Holland America cruise in December 2023. Rob is a great captain that can provide a very personal experience. His RIB was purchased from the Coast Guard and we felt he was diligent with safety. The boat is small enough to allow him to come in very close to shore for wildlife viewing opportunities. He picked us up in Dunedin and we cruised out to see the royal albatross cliffs. Along the way, he pulled into multiple stops to see flocks of roosting shags and other birds. At the second stop, there was a seal that appeared to be smiling at us.😁 My only regret was that I did not have New Zealand dollars to give him a tip… Sorry that he will have to change the American money. Great time! Thanks again!

They were unable to accommodate us on a timely manner after the ship ran late due bad weather. Contacted operator and they said pickup every half hour... waited over 50 minutes before canceling due to concerns of getting back before ship leaving. Saw boat come 15 to 20 minutes later after we left the area. Should have booked thru the cruise line. Refund refused.

You almost feel like you are on a private tour. This was a terrific way to see the castle & the town. A wonderful ride across the bay to the castle, plenty of time to explore on your own without a crowd of people, transfer across the bay again to the town. Everything worked like clockwork, the couple that owns/runs the tour are great. Book this tour, you won’t regret it.

Unfortunately the boat had to be cancelled due to a storm. The journey there along the coast and the way back via Highroad were still a dream! I got a lot of information. The castle is charming and the view from the tower is breathtaking.
