A unique opportunity to experience the very best Dunedin and the Otago Peninsula has to offer. This shore excursion combines sightseeing of Dunedin City and the Otago Peninsula with a guided tour of the stunning Larnach Castle and its grounds. Also included is Dunedin’s Chinese Gardens: an authentic Chinese Garden crafted by a team of artisans and craftsman from Dunedin’s sister city of Shanghai. Adjacent to the gardens, explore the Otago Early Settlers Museum with emphasis on the early settlement of Otago.

Our driver was great - very knowledgeable and super nice. He is a local so has history in Dunedin and surrounding area. Bus very comfortable and well maintained.

Castle is awesome - gardens and gounds beautiful and extensive, castle is awesome with a very interesting history. Glad someone is restoring and maintaining the place.

The Chinese gardens and museum are a miss - very small and not really that interesting. Go for the castle and viewing of the Train station!

I'm also pleased that you enjoyed your driver/guide and our vehicle. Sorry to hear you did not enjoy the the Chinese Gardens and Settlers Museum - this is often a highlight for many people that do this tour, but to each there own! We hope you get to visit Dunedin again soon!
