Hunter Valley Gatherer's Full-Day Food and Wine Tour
US$129.69
Overview
Day-long winery excursions are more fun without having to worry about driving. Visit at least four wineries for tastings and a vineyard tour, and stop at a craft brewery for good measure. Also sit down to a vineyard picnic lunch and pair wines with local cheese, chocolate, olives, berries, and more. With this tour, you’re picked up from your hotel and driven safely back afterward.
What to Expect
Your morning starts with a pickup from your Hunter Valley hotel by luxury van. Meet your driver/guide and hit the road for wineries nearby.

Visit four or five wineries small and large for private wine and cheese tastings and a vineyard tour. Receive a cheese and wine pairing guide.

For lunch, sit down in a vineyard and tuck into a meal of local cheese, chicken, smoked trout, pickles, bread, and olives with more wine.

Next, tour a craft brewery, and take part in wine and chocolate tastings. If there’s time afterward, look for kangaroos in the wild.

Your tour ends with a late afternoon drop-off at your hotel.

Best of the best

This tour was truly incredible. We visited 5 different wineries (tasted about 50 different wines) and a brewery! The day is perfectly planned with cheese pairings, lunch, and chocolate pairings. I worked for a food tour company in the US, so I'm quite familiar with...More

My fiancee and I recently flew thru Newcastle for a longish weekend in the Hunter Valley. We enjoyed one of those weekends away where everything just clicked and went superbly smoothly. A true highlight was our day with the Two Fat Blokes team. Our driver...More
