Excellent list of buildings visited in order to better understand better Chicago's Golden Age of skyscraper construction. Excellent choices of which buildings to enter and see interior gems of Chicago, I would not have viewed or know about without having taken the tour. The tour guide was well informed, knowledgeable and friendly. Anyone looking to enjoy downtown Chicago and learn more about this beautiful city's history will enjoy this tour.

Wonderful tour. Tom was a great guide and knew so much about the area. Beautiful homes built in the late 1800's-early 1900's. Very historical. Easy pace.

Sally was a great guide. Knowledgeable, well spoken, easy to hear and understand, and enthusiastic. The 90 minutes flew by.

I took the Art Deco Riverwalk tour with Betsy yesterday. My friend, was visiting from out of the country, was quite engaged with the tour. I have often seen the buildings we toured but I learned a lot of new things about the them (especially the interiors). We went into a section of the Merchandise Mart that I hadn't previously seen and I had a question about the murals and Betsy did some research and emailed me afterwards in response to my question.

Thank you so much to our guide Maureen. We had such a lovely time and saw so much beauty and even as lifelong Chicagoans new aspects of old favorites. It was a great tour!

We really enjoyed the Art Deco tour with Mitch, who was fantastic guide. He packed a lot of great historical information in the two hour tour. We visited gems along the river including many gorgeous lobbies that are packed with beautiful engravings, metal work and unique marble from the time. I took my 84 year old dad and he was able to manage the walking just fine. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic walking tour on a beautiful September day! Our guide, Larry, was not only knowledgeable about the architecture but entertained us with some humorous anecdotes about Chicago. His stories made our leisurely walk even more enjoyable and I look forward to taking some of the other tours, as well. Also, the gift shop is top notch!

Had a great walking tour today seeing Art Deco buildings. Mitch was a very informative guide and shared lots of stories. He also made sure that foreign tourists could understand him. I liked that we got to go into several buildings to see the beautiful lobbies. A really nice tour. Mitch is a wonderful guide!

We found the exhibits here to be interesting but limited. We love the architecture of Chicago and had higher expectations for this center. (This is not a review of the Center's tours.)

My two 13 year old daughters and I took the Chinatown tour with Matt. He was an enthusiastic, engaging and knowledgeable guide. We visited multiple sites where we heard about the history, culture and architecture of Chinatown. During the tour, we stopped in a Chinese bakery and the opportunity to buy some of the traditional pastries. Matt did a great job of answering our questions as well as providing recommendations for places to eat after the tour. We had a great time and look forward to taking another tour with the Chicago Architecture Center.

The Gold Coast: Astor Street Tour was an entertaining journey back in time when Chicago's elite families made this neighborhood their home. Our tour was led by local resident Burt who has lived there for the past 25 years. His low-key demeanor and charming stories of its residents complemented the stately elegance of the Gilded Age. Highly recommend this tour!

We took the walking tour with Sandy P. at 0930. It was awesome! With a limited gap in our itinerary, the "must see" was the perfect way to get the greatest hits. Sandy was an amazing tour guide. Her love for the city was so effusive and she was so knowledgeable! 10/10, I would recommend this tour to anyone with even the slightest interest in the city as you will certainly learn something enjoyable from Sandy.

We took the boat tour (Claudia), the best of Chicago (Hannah), and the elevated train tour (Robin). Our docents were knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. This trip was for my son who is an architect student at Univ. of Oregon but I enjoyed just as much as him!
