- 485kristiant0 contributionsBeyond the boat tourThis was an incredibly informative and captivating tour taking you beyond your everyday tourist spots and weaving you through the heart of the loop. I appreciated that this had so much to offer for both out of towners and locals alike - showcasing those places you never thought to peek inside of but are unforgettable once you see them. Would highly recommend.Written 1 February 2025
- I309PDashleyb0 contributionsAbsolutely the BEST walking tour in ChicagoI’ve been on several walking tours since living in Chicago - and this was hands down the best one! Our guide was the owner and she was so informative and entertaining. If you’re a local, you get to see incredible interiors of buildings you’ve likely walked by 100 times. If you’re visiting Chicago, you get a taste of what makes this city so beautiful.Written 1 February 2025
- S5130FNdustinm0 contributionsTourist in the city I’ve lived in for 25 yearsI have lived in Chicago for 25 years and love the architecture. I have worked on and off in the loop for 15 years. I’ve walked by some of these buildings hundreds of times and have never seen some of these beautiful interiors for most of the buildings on this tour. A must if you like interior architecture and design.Written 30 January 2025
- marietZ6515VG0 contributionsHeath is the knight in this pedway tale !Brilliant tour for cold winter weather. You’ll get enough information about Chicago and the pedway, nothing boring and you’ll definitely have few woow moments (speaking as a European). English is not my first language but I understood everything and well. Heath has a beautiful word pallet and he is very enthusiastic. So go for this tour!Written 27 January 2025
- Erin P0 contributionsDo this tour!! You'll love it!This tour shows you different examples of architecture styles in Chicago. The tour guide Hillary was knowledgeable, interesting, engaging and a lot of fun. She did a great job of teaching about architecture in a very down to earth way. She had a binder of photos to explain more of the features she was talking about. And she knew her stuff!! The buildings are close together and most of it is inside so even on a cold day you will have a great experience. The interiors are stunning and you would miss them just walking around. In fact there were quite a few folks from Chicago on our tour who had lived there for years and never seen the stuff we saw.Written 27 January 2025
- 842ElizabethW0 contributionsUnexpected and spectacular interiorsHillary did a great job answering our questions and showing us fabulous interiors. We have been to tChicago many times but this was a whole new side of Chicago for us. We came away very impressed.Written 27 January 2025
- where2nextOhio0 contributionsGood tourIt was an interesting tour. I enjoyed seeing the different styles in Chicago’s downtown. The Rookery was my fave and the library was a very close second! Kaylee did a good job.Written 27 January 2025
- Helen W0 contributionsChicago architectural essentialsGreat informative and tour. We were on our first day in Chicago, and this tour of the interiors of several city buildings was great to both ground us in our orientation of the city, and to open our eyes to the history and features of much of Chicago’s architecture. Highly recommended.Written 26 January 2025

My husband and I took this tour on our empty nesters do Christmas in Chicago trip. I love Christmas decorations and we hadn’t done a tour in Chicago in a few years. Our tour guide was the owner of the company and was filled with knowledge about the city, the decorations and local architecture. I was worried that I would get so cold that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy myself but there were plenty of inside stops that warmed me back up. We saw some beautiful trees, took some fabulous photos and had lots of fun. I would recommend having dinner reservations in the Millennium Park area around or after 6pm afterwards. Many restaurants that you usually didn’t need reservations for were closed for private holiday parties.

I live in the area and visit Chicago often, I thought I knew everything about the city with the amount of tours I have done throughout the years. I highly recommend this tour. It’s a fun, entertaining tour and I learned a lot about Chicago’s Christmas traditions and how they came to be. Heath was our guide and his knowledge and passion for the city made for a great tour. Give this tour a try it will for sure get you in the holiday spirit!!

We LOVED the Christmas Tree Crawl! Fun, entertaining, educational, a decent but not overwhelming walk with Hillary, our guide who knows her stuff and whose passion for it shows. A perfect mix of indoor and outdoor locations and even a Frango Mint! We've done many different Christmas activities around the city and this is one of the most unique and memorable. No better way to get into the holiday spirit!

This was an absolutely AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! Hillary planned a custom engagement Chicago Christmas Tour. Her attention to detail, knowledge of the city and it's history, and her outgoing enthusiasm and presentation of everything kept me and my now fiancee captivated and engaged the entire time. We were lucky to have Hillary and would recommend this tour to anyone!

I just completed the virtual Christmas Tree Crawl Experience in Chicago! It was marvelous! Hillary Marzec was very informative, entertaining and endearing with her stories of Christmas. She even shared her family with us. Based on the virtual tour, I am determined to be in Chicago for a few days next year to enjoy all the city has to offer. A big "thank you" to Hillary; I hope to meet you in person in 2022!

I bought 2 of these tours for my architect husband for his 60th birthday and we both LOVED them! Hillary is a wealth of information and took us into amazing spaces that one doesn’t know to go visit. A great way to celebrate Christmas in Chicago (and architects’ birthdays).

Attended a virtual Christmas tour, talking about Chicago Christmas traditions. Hillary is very knowledgeable yet conversational in her presentation. Looking forward to an opportunity to participate in one of the tours on person.

What a great way to kick off the holiday season! What makes Hillary's tours so great is the "inside" information that she provides at each stop and her personal touches. Anyone can walk a tour around a city, but Hillary talks with you, not at you
