The bus driver left without notifying us and abandoned us in the middle of Everglades Park. As foreign travelers, we were left completely stranded in a remote area with no transportation options—no Uber, no taxis, and no help nearby. It was extremely stressful and frightening. When we tried to get assistance from the staff at the contact table, the person we spoke with was cold, unhelpful, and dismissive. While we can’t say for certain, her attitude felt unnecessarily harsh and made us feel very uncomfortable—it left us wondering if she may have been biased against us as foreign tourists. This experience was unacceptable. We expected a professional and safe tour, and instead we were left feeling abandoned and disrespected. Terrific option for getting around Miami for the day. However, the actual tour was BORING!!! Most of the sights and facts were totally uninteresting. I noticed that most passengers were not even bothering to use their earbuds to listen to the recording.
We walked up to a representative at Stop 2 and purchased our tickets. She was very kind and helpful. She told us about the app that let us know when buses would arrive at various stops in real time so we could stay on our schedule and not be late for our evening flight. That was extremely helpful!
Unfortunately, the first bus we boarded was awful. We took the tour on a rainy day so everyone was riding on the lower deck. The water from the rain was leaking through the roof onto us passengers (not just the opening to go upstairs, but through the actual roof, light fixtures, etc. in the roof of the bus). The air was not circulating appropriately causing it to be uncomfortably hot and stuffy on the bus and exhaust fumes were entering the bus through the large gaps in the rear exit door that didn't close completely. That bus is in great need of repair or needs to be put out of commission. It was so bad, that we got off earlier than planned just to escape the discomfort. I overheard a family near us discussing getting off and catching an Uber for the same reasons. That family got off with us and did exactly that. Thankfully, the other two buses we rode were in better shape.

We drove to Bayside Marketplace in Miami to start the bus tour on a rainy Sunday morning., which helped us avoid some of the crowds. We were fortunate enough that there was still seating available on the lower level as otherwise we would have had to sit up above in the rain, which at times was a downpour. Our bus departed at 10:35 and we got off at the last stop in Little Havana to have lunch around 12:15. Good way to see the city without driving and they give out earbuds so you can listen to the recorded audio [English and Spanish available] of the history of the parts of Miami the bus passes through. Though we only got off and back on one time, with the app we were able easily to see when the next bus would arrive to take us back to our starting point. The rain had stopped and we had to sit on the upper level, which was actually fun and enabled better picture taking. The upper level seats are also more comfortable. We purchased the optional 1.5 hour Millionaire Row sightseeing cruise along with the bus pass and got both for $138 for 2. The bus pass is good for 48 hours so we plan to return to see more sights.

I don't recommend this tour because it is very limited to traveling around a few tourist spots in the city, in addition to having few and quick stops. Unprepared and stressed employees (not to mention rude), treating tourists as if they were anyone else. If you can avoid it, it's better to look for another free tour in Miami like TROLLER, whose drivers are very friendly and you don't spend anything.

Speaking for my husband and myself, we would NEVER recommend this tour to others, based on the following: we hopped on at Stop #1 (Bayside Marketplace), hopped off at Stop #2 (South Beach), and then tried to hop back on at Stop #3 (Soundscape Garden). The bus that soon arrived there was so full that we were not able to board, and had to wait for the next one (estimated by the employee at the stop to be "about 15 mins). In actuality, we waited in the heat for approx. 1 hour and 15 mins for the next bus, all the while having absolutely NO communication from the employee on-site as to when the next bus might arrive. We were told that "not all buses have GPS," so we were not even able to guess at the arrival time of the next bus ourselves. When the next bus DID arrive, it seemed to have no air conditioning running at all. Because we did not dare get off the bus again based on what had happened at Stop #3, we just sat on the bus, in the heat, for approximately 2 hours more, in traffic, until the "tour" was (thankfully) over. Even the "audio tour" was quite unsatisfactory: it contained very little in-depth or interesting information, such that our entire time on the bus felt like pretty much of a wasted afternoon, albeit a very hot, uncomfortable, and expensive one. At approx. $50 a head, this "tour" was of virtually no value to us, and our opinion would be exactly the same, even if it were to cost $10 a head.

We did the discover explore hop on/off tour of Miami. $77 per person
I should have hired a taxi/driver for the same amount of money to show me the sights.
You wait forever for a bus to arrive at the bus stop, when you get on they offer you ear buds for an audio system that does not work, so do not expect any commentary whatsoever while on the bus.
If you make the mistake of getting off a stop and then try to get back on, you will be waiting a minimum of 1 hour plus. A packed bus will arrive that you cannot get on.
The bus driver refused us getting on then lied to us saying another bus was coming. He forgot to say when it was coming, 45 minutes later!
Overall, very disappointing and regret I wasted my money on this.

• No announcements about the stops: You didn't know where you were or what you could see there because no announcements were made.
• Broken headphones & no audio guide: The headphones did not work, and without an audio guide the tour had no added value. It was just a boring bus ride with no info.
• Overpriced & pure construction site: Currently, Miami is a single construction site, so many routes are blocked or traffic jammed.
Big Bus Miami is a waste of money. Those who want to explore the city should prefer Uber or a guided tour or use. Save yourself the money and the trouble!

Although we could find the location for the Big Bus pick up from our hotel via google, there was no ticket office. The driver let us on and at the next two stops an employee got on and checked tickets and sold us ours. She never said what time we had to get on the bus to return to our pickup stop so when we decided to get off in Little Havana, the driver told us the last pick up was at 5:30. We boarded at 5:00 and were dropped off at a location (which was a $10 uber ride to our hotel) and were told that it was the last stop for the bus. When we complained that we weren't being dropped off at our pickup stop, the employees working there stated that it was the last stop for the buses. We have never experienced this in any city or country we have been in so buyer beware that you need to ask specifically what time the last bus is to be able to be returned to your pick-up location. There are plenty of other services that are free such as a shuttle service, trolley, and probably even an Uber or Lyft to tour the city and not pay the amount for the bus ticket and have to pay an Uber or Lyft on top of that price to be returned to your starting point.

The bus was in a terrible condition. The recorded commentary did not work and the air-conditioner was out of order. Tried tree devices with the plug, no go. There were no maps showing the route in Miami. In the area Little Havana the bus broke down and had to park on a bridge. After 30 minutes all the passengers were transferred to another bus. Those 30 minutes were horrible with no working AC. When we finally could leave the bus outside our hotel, my wife told the driver: never more this bus tour. He answered: f*** you!. This bad bus tour cost was 97,2 USD, double the price we are used to in Europe. And the ticked expired the same day at 4 pm, not after 24 hrs as normal. Shame on this bus company! WELCOME TO MIAMI!

This hop on hop off bus isn’t worth it - the buses tend to be overcrowded later in the day, ( people standing so completely unsafe) everyone trying to squeeze onto the last buses to get back downtown as there re not enough buses. There was also no air conditioning so being stuck in Miami traffic for an hour resulted in some seniors almost passing out from the heat…. And this was February - I dread to think what it would be like in July! The tour itself is basically a slow crawl through Miami traffic interspersed with facts about Miami u’ll forget as soon as you disembark. Save yourself the money and either take a citi bike or uber out to south beach & Wyndham and explore yourself.

"My husband and I decided to take a Big Bus tour of Miami to celebrate his birthday. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing due to an issue with their wheelchair accessibility policy.
My husband has a back problem and uses a small mobility scooter to get around, as he cannot walk long distances. The scooter is compact, around the size of a regular wheelchair, and we have never had issues bringing it on cruise ships, airplanes, or other transportation. Big Bus Miami's website states they can accommodate wheelchairs.
However, when we tried to board the bus, the driver refused to let my husband on with his mobility scooter. Despite the scooter's small size, they said they only allow certain types of wheelchairs. As a result, we were unable to take the tour.
This was very upsetting, as it felt discriminatory to deny my husband access due to his disability assistive device. It ruined our plans for his birthday celebration. I hope in the future Big Bus will be more accommodating of mobility scooters so those with disabilities can fully participate."

My husband has a back problem and uses a small mobility scooter to get around, as he cannot walk long distances. The scooter is compact, around the size of a regular wheelchair, and we have never had issues bringing it on cruise ships, airplanes, or other transportation. Big Bus Miami's website states they can accommodate wheelchairs.
However, when we tried to board the bus, the driver refused to let my husband on with his mobility scooter. Despite the scooter's small size, they said they only allow certain types of wheelchairs. As a result, we were unable to take the tour.
This was very upsetting, as it felt discriminatory to deny my husband access due to his disability assistive device. It ruined our plans for his birthday celebration. I hope in the future Big Bus will be more accommodating of mobility scooters so those with disabilities can fully participate."

I did not see anywhere at the location for storing luggage. If you are staying in a hotel, they usually have facilities for luggage storage prior to checking in or after checking out.
