      Worth it!
We took the Dolphin & Shelling Tour. The boat is comfortable and shaded. We saw dolphins and other wildlife and enjoyed a little time shelling too. Clay was a wonderful, fun guide! Well-run company. We would do it again.

      Unforgettable experience
One word fantastic. We had a private tour with captain Clay. Still speechless. We were specially interested in the Dolphins. We found them and they surfed behind the boat with us. And than we stayed for a while in the boat and whatched the dolphins. Clay told us a lot about the nature and all live around. It was fantastic

      Fantastic experience
Saw an amazing variety of birds. Had dolphins follow us in the boat for a long time. The kids loved it and so did we! Great spot to watch the sunset from the water. Guide was knowledgeable and fun. Definitely recommend this and we will probably do it again because we had so much fun. Grateful for the awesome experience! (Don’t forget a jacket. It’s cold on the water after sunset - and with the wind from the boat.)

      Great nature experience
It was a fantastic experience for the family. It was a pleasure dealing with eco endeavors from the initial phone call to coming back to the dock. Captain Glenn and Barbara were very knowledgeable about the local area, the rich flora and fauna, and they even had a great recommendation to grab a bite for lunch. Crusing with the dolphins was the kids' favorite for sure, and I would highly recommend this tour for the entire family. We have done tours with other companies in the past, and there is no comparison.

Wonderful experience start to finish. The dolphins were almost close enough to touch. Kids said it was the best part of vacation.

      Birds, Dolphins, Shells and Fun!
Group of 5, 11 total plus 2 Captains, comfortable, clean boat. A little windy and cool, they handled the weather well and avoided wind and waves when possible. Great trip knowledgeable and comfortable conversations. Played with dolphins twice during the tour and got some great shells too! Tour is family friendly, couple kids in our group had a blast!

      Not as advertised
Disappointed as it was not as advertised. No dolphins or manatees. Felt like the people were not experienced and it was just a long boat ride.

Nice and affordable small ecotour for the family.
We went on the dolphin and shelling tour with Captain Glenn and first mate Barbara. We had an amazing time and learned so much about the island and wildlife in the area. We saw several dolphins and had some free loaders chasing our boat. It was so cool being so close to them in their natural habitat we didn’t have a lot of time to shell but were able to find quite a few in the 45ish minutes we had on a beach. We were a family of 4 (19-58) on a pontoon that included another adult family of 4. The price was very affordable for a family excursion.

Wonderful opportunity to get up close with Miami wildlife!
A wonderful trip with Captain Glenn and Captain Joe doing everything in their power to make you feel welcome and get you as close as possible to the action and the wildlife. We saw dolphins playing right beside the boat, we saw so many birds and Glenn and Joe had so much useful information on the local area. It was such an enjoyable trip, great value for money and would highly recommend to all!

      Fantastic boat trip
I booked this trip after reading lots of reviews and wasn’t disappointed! A fabulous 3 hours spent with our very knowledgeable and delightful captain Alec We saw plenty of dolphins as well as rays and a manatee. A visit to seashell island gave me the opportunity for a swim as well as a glimpse of a shark ! We also saw plenty of the mangrove covered islands As we got off the boat we asked Alec for a recommendation for somewhere to get some good seafood, he suggested Lee Be Fish which was amazing , really fresh well prepared food at a really good price

      Great experience
After getting cancelled several times because of rain we finally got to go on this excursion. It was well worth the wait. It was a really nice boat trip around the 10,000 islands, great shelling and a phenomenal dolphin experience. Highly recommended.

We had a delightful morning on this ECO Endeavors tour with Sarah and Colt as our guides. The boat was very well equipped. Only 9 were on this trip so it was easy to move around. Our guides had extensive knowledge of the wild life and physical processes that are constantly modifying this environment.

We had the most fun watching the dolphins play. Sarah did a wonderful of bringing the boat very close to them. Sometimes she was successful at getting them to jump and frolic in our wake. Other times we would cruise very slowly while they swam around us just a few feet away. We watched one swim by playing with a fish sticking out of it's mouth, as if to show us how proud they were of their catch. It was really interesting to see how gracefully they effortlessly moved through the water.

This is a wonderful tour! My only suggestion -you bring a wind shirt or windbreaker. Even though it was in the mid 60s, it was a little cool while crossing the open waters of the bay.

PS: We followed this wonderful adventure with a great fish lunch at "The Little Bar" restaurant just down the road from where we left on the tour.

We are enjoying a "stay-cation" thanks to COVID. Thankfully, when you live in Naples it's not much of a hardship to stay local. We took a 3-hour tour through the 10,000 Islands National Wildlife Refuge with Capt Dave today. It was an excellent little adventure. Capt Dave was professional and entertaining, without being over the top. The day was beautiful and the sights are outstanding, including a stop by the Dome house and a shell beach, where we had time to snorkel. The highlight for sure was the dolphins, which Capt Dave and one of his associates in another boat managed to coax up out of the water in spectacular fashion. Highly recommended whether you are a local or from the out of town.

We loved our Dolphin and Shelling adventure! Captain Sara and First Mate Santana were excellent! They were friendly and knowledgeable. My son loved to see the manatees and dolphins, and the shelling he hasn’t stopped talking about all the shells he found. Our original booking was during Tropical Storm Else and Captain Josh was quick, easy, and responsive for rescheduling. We also had our 8 month old and they were accommodating for her as well. Highly recommend Eco Endeavors! We would use them again.

This was our second trip in two years; not as exciting as our first one but excellent nonetheless. Nature is not like Walt Disney World. It’s more like a box of chocolates: You never know what you’re gonna get. There was a magnificent highlight: an island shore filled with white pelicans, which we had never seen despite being lifelong Floridians. We did see several dolphins, briefly, and the usual beautiful water birds. No manatees this time.

A park ranger accompanied us this time. He was incredibly informative, able to answer all questions. I recommend selecting a time when the ranger goes along. That’s not to say the boat captain doesn’t know his/her stuff because they do.

Take your binoculars. They were helpful to better see the white pelicans, in this case.

Make sure the hat you choose to take fits snugly or you may have it fly away and they don’t go back for it.

The trip is not too long — 90 minutes — so you really don’t need water or food.

You might also want to consider other activities while you are in the Everglades: the Fakahatchee Strand boardwalk, the Clyde Butcher Gallery, Everglades City, the Smallwood Store in nearby Chokoloskee, to name a few.

This is a part of the world unlike any other. Go experience it!

Our Captain Sarah was very knowledgeable, friendly, and fun! The island we got to explore for an hour was beautiful. Lots and lots of great shells! We were lucky to see dolphins at the end of our tour. Captain took the time to find the dolphins and "threw them a wake" where we had 3 or 4 dolphins follow our boat for 10+ minutes. It was amazing! Well worth the time and money.

We saw incredible wildlife. The guide was excellant and he informed us that it was a HIGHLY unusual day, but we saw birds galore, at least 30 dolphins including one pod that played next to our boat for at least 15 minutes. We saw a Manatee, which at this time of year is very unusual, we had a great visit to the Cape Romano Dome Home, and had a nice beach excursion where if you like shells, it was fantastic. The weather was great and the boat was comfortable and not overcrowded.

We spent a wonderful time on the water. The boat holds twelve passengers and Captain Dave and Campbell were very good at pointing out wildlife. We saw many dolphins, some even swimming in the wake of the boat, many sea birds and even some raccoons! The beach was wonderful for shelling or having a dip. Spent some time at the dome houses. I highly recommend this tour.

This was a wonderful tour. Captain Dave and his mate Colt were so knowledgeable and made each moment on the boat so interesting. The captain slowed our boat down at one point so the dolphins could follow in our wake. When we got to the beach it was breathtaking. The shelling was something I’ve never experienced. Bring more than one she’ll bag.

Great tour!!!! Guides were very informed about the island’s birds and mangroves. I was amazed at some of the facts I learned. Captain was able to engage a dolphin to follow the wake of the boat for about 15 minutes. Looking for shells on uninhabited island was lots of fun. Amazing! Highly recommend this tour.

We throughly enjoyed our outing with Josh. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and a great boat pilot. We saw over four pods of dolphins. The shell collection was fun too! Josh shared several tidbits of the area and his ability to answer numerous questions without hesitation was impressive. We strongly recommend this tour! We would go again! 😊👍
