Get away from the Theme Parks and into the REAL Florida
Oct 2021
We had a delightful paddle with Alex through the Cypress Forest. It's an easy-to-do experience through the shade of the cypress and live oaks. Alex has a thorough knowledge of all the flora and fauna. He pointed out several species of birds, turtles, baby gators, and native flowers. He's also patient and attentive to the level of experience of the participants, doubling back to check on us and giving another couple some instruction on more advanced kayaking.

A wonderful way to spend a morning away from the craziness of Orlando's theme parks. Highly recommend.

Family of 6 (parents and teens) enjoyed this adventure very much. Even unexperienced kayakers can complete this tour. Josh did a wonderful job teaching us about the unique landscape around us. Highly recommend!

Excellent kayak tour, relaxing and informative
Met by a welcoming group of laid back employees who set the tone for the trip. All needs were taken care of and instructions were clear. Met our guide by the picnic tables and he went over the plan for the guided tour of the cypress forest. Good conversation with interesting tidbits of local info. Absolutely beautiful area right in the middle of Kissimmee. Other than the airplane and helicopter sounds, wouldn't have seemed like the creek was smack in the middle of this tourist haven. Plenty of wildlife. Saw a couple different species of turtle and gar. Two little gators swam across the creek ahead of us. Guide pointed out a little snake on the shore and discussed how to tell the difference between poisonous and non-poisonous snakes. Lots of osprey flying around. Paddled up to a point where the creek narrowed and got very shallow. Walked through the sandy bottomed creek to learn about invasive plant species. Got a bit of a history lesson along with way as we learned about the cypress tree and its value to the area. Definately recommend this tour, it was one of the highlights of our vacation.

Banded Water Snake!
May 2021 • Couples
We enjoyed the experience paddling with Ray our guide and Ryan who helped! The water level was low so some parts required assistance to move through the creek which is not a reflection on the team. We were disappointed that there were 10 people in the tour. This made it difficult to hear our guide and it was hard to judge how fast to go causing “traffic jams”. Unfortunately, how to hold the paddle the correct way was not discussed until asked and best posture for using your core was not mentioned until the end of the tour. We took the 10:00 am tour and overall the team was very nice.

Interesting and Educational Paddle through "old Florida"
May 2021
Guide Alex took us on a wonderful paddle. Highly recommend this trip and I'll be back soon with my grandchildren. It's amazing to be so close to the city but feel totally immersed in the headwaters to the Everglades. Alex knows so much about the wildlife and was a real pleasure to paddle with.

Extraordinary trip, I learned a lot about Florida ecosystems
May 2021
Wonderful primary Florida forest experience right in the middle of the city! Pristine nature, crystal clear water, and plenty of wildlife like alligators, turtles, soma snakes, rare birds etc. we were able to see during this two hours trip thanks to the marvelous job our ground guide Alexander did. His profound knowledge of this environment, his love for nature, and his enthusiasm for what he is doing were contagious. We enjoyed this trip a lot and he made it even much better, more illustrative educating us about how fragile this ecosystem can be. In the end, he brought us his pet - a local native Florida snake - and it was the first time I could touch a snake without fear and learn about this incredible creature I was always scared to death from. I couldn't believe how docile his animal can be and how wrong we all are killing the for no reason as most of them are completely inoffensive! Thank you, Alexander.

Best Experience for Beginners
Apr 2021
Since I was staying at a resort in the area, I decided to check this out since I had never kayaked, (I live on the Anclote/Gulf side of the state). Alex was wonderful not only as an instructor, but also as a naturist. It was not only a kayaking experience but also an education of the wildlife, plants and flowers in the area. I would love to go back.
