Overview
Go scuba diving at a Key West reef without any required certification. Under the supervision of a certified dive instructor, spend your vacation time exploring the underwater world of one of the earth's largest reefs. This is a perfect opportunity to learn the basics of scuba; all instruction and equipment included means even beginners can give it a try.
What to Expect
What to Expect

*Remember* this tour is for beginners so no prior scuba diving or swimming experience is required.

  1. Fundamentals Briefing:
    Your dive professional will start you out from the beach where he/she will go over information and fundamentals of scuba diving. Usually 10-15 minutes.
  2. Getting Comfortable:
    Your dive pro will start you out in waist deep water (3ft) to get you comfortable with breathing underwater and teach you some basic scuba diving skills.
  3. Guided Scuba Dive Tour:
    After the dive pros get you comfortable and they are comfortable with you, they will give you an underwater tour, showing you all the beautiful aquatic life and fish. They’ll also capture some of those memories on video!
Duration

1.5-2 hours (depending on your group size and how you do in the water)

The length of the dive varies for everyone whether your a seasoned diver or a beginner, depending on your comfort level and air consumption. This is a one-tank dive.

Great Experience!

Very good first time scuba experience. Luke was great, very professional! Would recommend to anyone! If you have never been scuba diving before it feels very different than anything I had experienced before. Very very cool!

You will need to arrange for taxi service or get a rental car. It is much too far for a scooter to be practical or safe. We arranged through our hotel. We spent for two persons around 100 dollars round trip.

You might not like going deeper than what you normally do. And that’s the point of diving. You will go deeper than 5 feet.
