Awesome fishing trip Lady Pamela II
When I arrived at the pier, I had to sign up for a drift fishing trip because at the time I was the only one that wanted to go on the big game trip. Shortly after I paid for the trip I was advised that 4 other people wanted to upgrade to the Big game trip. So there was 4 adults and a 5 year old on this trip. When we started to fish for bait fish we let the 5 year old catch them because he wouldn't be able to bring in anything large. He had a great time and the deck hand was amazing working with the little boy. Now onto my review. This was the first time deep sea fishing and the first fish I was told by the other people on the boat was mine, so i jumped into the seat and got ready, they placed the rod into the holder and I fought for awhile, could have been 3 minutes or 30 I have no idea. When i did finally get it into the boat it was the biggest fish I've ever caught. I am writing this review 3 days after the trip and my left bicep is still sore (well worth the pain) It was an amazing experience and I'm thankful for the 4 other people that upgraded. The crew was great. This is something I will do again.

      Not professional
The business, boat and crew are NOT for serious sport fishing. For first timers, people wanna have fun in water and catch a BIG( pound or two) fish for the first time will have fun. Boats are very old but somehow maintained with crew just doing their job good enough to get gratuity. Now about fees, they would negotiate if you know how to. I was told $200, then they charged me $225+tax and %5 credit card fee. You can imagine how this place is run. It is not big numbers but just know the attitude before you book. Oh on top of that they charged me $5 on the dirt in front of the dock where another car was parked behind me and I got yelled asking to move it when we got back. Bottomline, wanna have fun with your kid or couple of friends, it is not bad. Just bargain before

      Terrible experience
We as tourists rely on the expertise of those who run the fishing charters. We were taken advantage of and all money lost when taken out this past Monday with 25 mph winds. The majority of the boat was seasick. All agreed to head in almost 2 hours early. Few people even fished because the conditions were so bad. They shouldn’t have even taken us out. It was simply to keep our money and is a greedy move that’s bad for business. I will Not refer anyone to this company for this reason. You have to book ahead and weather is unpredictable. As the business you have the ability to say sorry conditions aren’t favorable and provide refunds. They keep your money and you’re done. Terrible experience.

      Biggest fish of my life
Most of the day was slow, caught some fish here and there. They were awesome to talk to though, and they put in some extra effort to try and get something. We ended up catching the biggest “fish” of our life: a 12 foot Great Grey Hammerhead shark. Definitely gonna be using these guys again.

Nick and Bobby were great! Took us put to a few different areas, ensuring that we caught fish. Bobby also managed to dodge the rain storms around us. Definitely will go back again when in the area

Best day ever!! Request captain Bobby and nick!
Y’all don’t even hesitate to book this, and most importantly request captain Bobby and first mate nick! We were going to do the drift fishing and after chatting with them they offered a private trip for just our family. We debated for a few since it was a bit more pricey, well worth every single penny. Y’all do it! I have 3 small kids and we got 2 fish that were 50 and 52 inch monsters! We had the most incredible day, all super big thanks to Bobby and nick! All good things come down to one big important factor….the people! Bobby and nick were part of family memories our kids will talk about for the rest of their lives! Thanks for the best day ever!!!! Will be back to do it again!!! Genuinely great guys and so wonderful with my kids!!!!! Highly highly highly Recommend this to anyone looking for a fun day that they will remember forever! We are mounting these fish, so we get to enjoy looking at these beast once they come back from the fish place! Y’all ask for my number anyone can call me personally to rave about this trip!!! Thanks Nick and Bobby!!!!

      Two Big Sharks
The trip was great! Bobby took us to a great spot. We caught various smaller fish then they set up the big tackle and we dropped to the bottom. Nick helped one of the guys catch a 7’-8” nurse shark. Once we got it landed and tagged Bobby raced back to the same spot and Nick helped me land a7’-4” nurse shark! It was an awesome trip and I plan to use them again sometime. I can’t wait to see my replica hanging on the wall!

      AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! DO IT!!!
We came expecting to go out on the water for small game fishing, Bobby welcomed us and told us about the opportunity to go on the sport fishing (larger catch) excursion instead. Since my husband has always wanted to do that, it was a no-brainer. We thank God we went on this trip as we ended up catching a 7.5 ft sailfish AND in August! Nick was the most wonderful and amazing crew member and absolute PRO who kept everything in line and kept his patience through all of the chaos (we had two 7+ ft fish on two lines at once). Let me just say that if you are looking for an amazing day and experience, go ahead and spend the money to go on this more private trip. No regrets and we have some great new friends! Thank you so much for the experience of a lifetime!

It was a fun 4 hours off the Fort Lauderdale coast. Well supported on board by Phil, Steve and Jordan who were all extremely helpful when fishing lines became tangled or fish needed to be removed from hooks for some of our less experienced anglers. I was disappointed that the website stated $65/person and we were charged $70/person. I booked the trip in person the day before, asked if this was the $65/person drift board trip and nothing was said about it being $70 at that time or the actually day of the trip when it was paid for. There were over 40 people on board and there were a lot of tangled lines. We were told this was due to currents.

Took my 2 sons on a Wednesday morning trip after July 4, only 10 total on the Lois Ann. Caught 10 smallish keepers, enough for dinner for the family so the boys were more than happy. Captain and mate were first rate, made sure the new fishers / unlucky ones at least reeled in a fish. $3 cleaning per fish. They still earned a good tip. Definitely highly recommend.
Only downside was they were trying to upgrade drift fishers to deeper water trip for only an additional $100 per fisher. The person trying to do the upgrades was pretty pushy. In the end the sport fishing boat came back with 4 small jacks (tuna type) so it was about what I'd expect.

I had so much fun on this fishing trip! Nick (the First mate) was always ready to help with anything and everything. I got tangled up right at the beginning, and Nick untangled my line in nothing flat! The Captain (Mitch) was very kind, and had a great sense of humor! Everyone was catching tropical gorgeous fish left and right, so if you want to have fun on the water catching fish I highly recommend Lady Pamela ii 😀

I recently went on the 4 hour drift fishing boat with my 2 boys, 12 and 15. There were 13 of us and I think that was a good number for the size of the boat. Nick was really helpful untangling our reels and getting us back fishing quickly. He didn't show any frustration or impatience running from guest to guest. Though he will bait your line there is an expectation that you will do this yourself. You will do a lot of waiting if you can't do this yourself. It was chopped up squid and we ended up with black ink all over a clothes that was difficult to get out. So keep that in mind. There is a sink in the cabin and in the bathroom. They say the boat is air conditioned but you couldn't feel it. A number of people were inside seasick and I am sure the heat and little air ventilation in the cabin didn't help them. My kids each caught a fish but most of the time was spent searching for new spots that were not successful. I can't blame the charter if the fish were not biting. Overall I would recommend this charter for families with kids and anyone who has never gone fishing in the ocean. My one complaint is that I was hit up for a tip before we even left. The guy that checked us in said I should tip $14 so I forked it over and then he said per person, so I walked away. When we got off the boat Nick asked people for a tip as well. He deserved it not the guys sitting at the dock. It made me feel that he was ripping people off and those who deserved the tip may not be getting it. Tips should be based on service and earned.

Our experience on this charter today was shockingly terrible. Obviously they cannot control the weather and cannot control whether fish are biting. What they can control, however, is whether/when to take the boat out and when to bring it back in. The waves on the charter were huge and unrelenting. I am not a boat person so I won't estimate the size of the waves, but I (and others) had legitimate concerns we would capsize. The guy next to me called his wife and told her to "pray" for him. We had 42 people on our boat. I witnessed 10 vomiting and was told of at least 10 others doing the same. 3 of the 4 people in my party threw up. 3 of the 5 people sitting next to me outside the boat threw up. Also, no one was catching fish. The captain ordered one seasick guest inside the cabin outside to throw up over the railing. The guest said he was not moving (I wouldn't have either). The captain responded by yelling at the guest telling him he was not welcome back, and told the guest that the charter was low priced, the guest got what he paid for and should have expected this experience.

Finally, the captain announced over the boat's intercom they were going to take a poll of how many guests wanted to head back. Based on what the crew told me, at least 30 wanted to head in. Despite this overwhelming majority, the crewmember said the "office" would not allow them to go back. It was clear both from the circumstances and the captain's announcements (emphasizing again and again they do not refund guests' money) this company's primary and exclusive concern is making money.
After the crew's initial guest poll and following 15 more minutes spent 1) no fish and 2) more people retching over the side of the boat, they eventually returned to the dock.

It was among the worst experiences of my life. I could not recommend this charter less enthusiastically. Opt for a more responsible company, even if it costs more.

From other reviews, it appears that two days ago, this company hosted another group whose experience was seemingly identical to ours' - thus making their decision to take today's boat out that much more inexcusable.

Trip advisor charged $8 more per person than their website Lady Pamela II which was disappointing. The boat went out in very poor weather conditions and people were falling in the galley. The (substitute) captain was also riding my future daughter-in-law hard about having her cell phone out, telling Jordan to take it from her, it was against the rules, and would harass her about it even when her phone was put away; made it very unenjoyable. The captain also didn’t allow a pic with a fish I caught before we threw it back. Most people caught fish right at the end when the weather cleared a bit we were out of time. It does have a bathroom but the window fell out when a passenger fell into it - very rough water and waves. Also note no transportation for those staying at resorts an no drinks/food/coolers available so be sure to bring your own. Bring a raincoat too. $46 uber ride from North Florida Sebastian Beach area and $23 back. Btw Jordan the first mate was awesome!

Captain Adam and Mate Nick we’re very nice and informative. We initially purchased drift fishing so that we can fish. We were asked if we wanted to upgrade $80 each to sport fishing and the only difference was less people and bigger fish. Inexperienced with sport fishing we took advantage and opted to the new experience. All 6 on boat caught one fish but it was far from fishing on our own. Mate and Captain did all the work and we just reeled in. Not exactly what we expected and feel we were left without specific details especially because we knew nothing. If you want to fish and cast this was not the experience, while it was nice I would not have jumped on that had I known we would not be fishing.

About half as many ppl on the boat would make it slightly more possible to avoid tangling other ppls line. Between untangling my own line and doing it for the folks on either side of me so that I'd have 6 inches of space to drop my line in. I didn't get much time to fish.

this driftboat operator is terrible. we were quoted a price of $70 per person and informed that the boat leaves the dock at 8-8:15 am.
upon arrival we were told that the trip would now cost $100 per person plus extra for parking and extra for ice.
after agreeing to the new increased rate we were informed that we must wait till 10 am for two more passengers.
Ultimately the boat never left the dock and we were refunded.
This was a huge waste of time.
If you wish to go fishing, try another outfit!

Would have been a lot of fun it seems but when we arrived they said tough luck we can’t go out as we need 10 people to leave but only have 4. I understand the principle behind it and would have respected it a lot more if they were communicative. No phone call or anything. Wasted $50 to Uber there and had to Uber back right after. Very disappointed but understandable. Just wish they had called beforehand. Would recommend calling them every chance you get to check in on status of the boat before departing.
