The manatee- and dolphin-rich waters off the coast of Daytona Beach beckon visitors out of their beach chairs. This half-day exploration seeks out these animals from the comfort of a stand-up paddleboard. Guides lead you under seven bridges, around an island, and through several scenic canals in search of wildlife. Tours are slow-paced and geared toward all ages and skill levels and take place in a calm bay.

What to Expect
Meet your guide at the paddleboard site in Daytona Beach at your selected tour time. (The 8:30am and 10:30am tours are recommended as this is when the weather is normally the best and when dolphins and manatees are the most active).

Most people who take the tour have never tried paddle boarding, so every tour begins with a ground demonstration and lesson. There is a calm bay where everyone will have a chance to try out their paddleboards and get comfortable. If you still do not feel feel comfortable, there are kayaks on site that you can use instead.

Your adventure will begin with a circle around an island, where you'll pass under seven bridges, through a Yatch Club and alongside Yachts. Then go through small and large canals close to shore, in relatively shallow water. You will pass through areas that have high concentrations of manatees and dolphins.

Tours includes all gear required and concludes at the original departure point. The tour is approximately two hours long, however, please allow for three hours when scheduling as sometimes the itinerary can be lengthened depending on manatee sightings.

By far the funniest thing to do in Daytona. My family and I went and had an absolute blast, even my granny was able to do it and she’s nearly 80. Jake was the absolute best, full of helpful tips and very watchful over everyone....More

Excellent Experience on the Water

My husband booked the tour for us for my birthday, in hopes I'd finally see a manatee or dolphin in person. Our tour guide was Jacob, and it was just four of us on the tour. While my husband was able to jump up to...More

I don't know. However, summer weather changes rapidly. Lightening can be an issue in front of a storm, i.e. a bolt out of the blue. Check with the tour staff when making your reservations.

I brought a clear waterproof pouch for my phone and wore it around my neck. Was able to get some great pics that way 😄
