Phillip arrived in the van wearing a smile and generously welcomed us to the tour.
We were instructed to keep safe by wearing our masks, letting Philip open the doors, and sanitizing before entry.
Within minutes we were all laughing and breaking the ice. The first stop was for a clean restroom visit and a local coffee shop and bakery.
Over the course of the day, Phillip shared his wisdom and knowledge about the history of Colorado, the environment and atmosphere, the wildlife and of course the Gem Lake we would be hiking. The 4-miler hike was a fantastic option!
Aspire Tours had plenty of snacks, and Phillip took pictures and laughed alongside an all-girl tribe for 8 hours; Philip was a sport!
I highly recommend anyone who is looking to laugh and learn new things about Colorado to book a tour with Phillip.
I will definitely be returning with my husband soon!

Had a great trip led by Nick, an outstanding trip leader. I was traveling solo as my husband had a day long meeting in downtown Denver. I joined a group of 9 others for this daylong adventure, a family of four, a mother and adult daughter, a couple and another woman traveling solo. Nick was very attentive to everyone’s needs and kept us well informed about the history and geology of the area and identifying animals and their habits in the park. In fact, it felt like animals were coming out on cue: lots of elk, mountain goat, yellow-bellied marmot, mule deer, etc. The hike Nick chose for us was stunningly beautiful - I really couldn’t have asked for more! The trip exceeded my expectations.

This was a well organized trip. Got to see the Rocky Mountain National Park and lovely nearby towns on Nov 5, 2021
Hiked in Rocky Mt National Part for a round trip of about 3.6 miles with an elevation gain of over 1000ft. The hike started at an elevation of about 8000ft
Our tour guide Ryan, was excellent and safety of the hikers was a paramount feature especially when we encountered ice on the trail
He was punctual. The tour started and ended at Union station

This was a great hike in the beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park run by professional tour company Aspire. Well organised meet up in front of Union Station and our guide Ryan D gave us an overview of the day ahead and got a general consensus on what type of hike we wanted to do. It was then about 1 and a half hours in the minibus to the park with a quick restroom stop at a cute little town enroute. There was beautiful scenery to look on the way along with some wildlife spots including coyote, elk, deer and big horn sheep. There was plenty of room in the minibus for our group to space out and we were all asked to wear masks while inside the van so it felt very safe. We arrived at the car park and hopped out to jump on the parks shuttle service to get up to our starting point at Bear Lake. Before leaving the van Ryan passed out water, sandwiches and chips for our lunch. We walked about 7.5 miles in total on the hike up to Emerald Lake via a few other alpine lakes, across to Lake Haiyaha and then down past Alberta Falls to Glacier Gorge to get the shuttle bus back to our van. The hike was for the most part on well defined tracks apart from a bit of a scramble on some boulders to get to the edge of Haiyaha and wasn’t too steep or strenuous although you can feel the high altitude here but as long as you take regular stops to catch your breath you are good. The elevation gain was about 1000ft with the highest altitude at Emerald Lake being about 10,400ft. Ryan our guide made sure we had a lot of photo stops/breaks and was constantly moving from the front of the group to the back to make sure we were all doing good. We very unexpectedly had a lot of snow fall on our hike which meant visibility wasn’t great to see the surrounding mountains but it felt like we were stepping into Narnia and the scenery was beautiful with the snow and it was a real experience hiking through the snow. All in all this was an amazing hike, with a very knowledgeable and super friendly tour guide, who went above and beyond to ensure we all had a fantastic day in RMNP!

Was hesitant to book this alone but SO glad I did! Just moved to Colorado and wanted a safe and comfortable group to go hiking with to get a feel for things. - this was perfect! Dylan was our tour guide and he was AWESOME. Super chill and a great sense of humor to make the entire ride and hike enjoyable with tons of information for us. It unfortunately started storming before we made it to the top of the mountain so Dylan drove us to a different lake instead so we could still get pictures and explore. Good pace for the hike and the sandwich for lunch was even good!! Loved this experience and definitely recommend it!!

Incredible tour. Absolutely breathtaking views. You could spend a lifetime exploring the area and it still wouldn’t be enough time to truly comprehend the beauty and majesty of these mountains. Our guide Nick enhanced the experience immeasurably. He never made us feel rushed, was personable and knowledgeable and took every opportunity to make sure we were comfortable and well-accommodated. The hike he chose was manageable for all skill levels and we made enough stops along the way so that nobody was struggling or left behind. Even lunch was provided! For those considering embarking, I would recommend rain protection/good shoes as we encountered one of those infamous Rocky Mountain Afternoon Rainstorms and the trail became quite slippery afterward. I highly recommend this tour company and excursion to anyone who wants to experience the gold standard of natural beauty as well as service.

Fall color and wildlife...favorite site to see! Turkeys were hiding in the brush from the upcoming holiday. Elk bugling, deer munching, squirrels scampering, and ducks doing headstands in Cub Lake were the highlights of our approximately 5 miles. Yellow, orange and red on a background of green with blue above....perfect palette for an October hike!

Wow, what a group! Went on 2 tours with Aspire, one led by Jed and the other by Ryan. Both tours were excellent - I highly recommend this group for the scenic adventure, safety, and trustworthiness.
Mid-hike, it began to snow and one person's socks became soaked. Ryan literally gave this individual the warm socks he was wearing - the guy is a genuine leader.
Cannot say enough kind things about Ryan and Jed. Cheers!

I spent a day with tour guide Aaron and 5 travellers and can’t say enough about what a great hike this was. Aaron asked all our opinions and what we were hoping to see, how we felt about terrain and elevation and then took us to Cub Lake. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We had a great day together, learned lots about Denver, it’s surroundings, vegetation, animals and rock formation. He made sure to offer rest stops on our way to our hike, provided tons of water and not to go unmentioned was his driving. He is great at handling the roads! Thanks for a great experience Aaron

The Rocky Mtn Hiking Adventure was one of the best travel experiences I have had. Our guide, Ryan D., made the hike so special for each member of our group. He inquired about what we as a group wanted to get out of the hike and tailored our hike based on the group's wishes! Ryan fostered such a welcoming environment for the group to bond and feel comfortable with one another. Our group was small - only 8 people; I was expecting more, but this was a pleasant surprise! Ryan has a PhD in Wildlife Biology, making him a wealth of information on all things nature in the Rockies! The hike was the perfect amount of challenging. Following reaching our destination, Gem Lake, Ryan invited those who were comfortable to take a short, more "extreme" hike a little bit higher up while those who didn't want to join were able to enjoy their lunch with the beautiful scenery of Gem Lake. He truly catered to the wishes of every individual!
The deli sandwich provided through the tour was so yummy. Eating a delish sandwich at 9000 ft elevation is truly unmatched!
Ryan also provided so many great recommendations for breweries and restaurants in Denver and surrounding areas.
I would rate my experience a 10000/10 if I could. I would absolutely do another tour with Ryan and the team at Aspire Tours.

Our group started out as about 9 people when we first met, but we ended up switching cars with another group halfway through, so my group ended up as 4 people + myself + tour guide (6 total) who did the hike together.

For those of you who have done this hiking tour, is it doable to go on the full-day Rocky Mtn hiking experience and make it back to Denver airport by 6pm-ish? Have a 8pm flight and I'd like to make it work.
