The Mile High Wine Tour in Denver
From US$145.00
Overview
While Colorado may be best known for its beer, the state also boasts ideal wine-growing conditions. Get to know Denver's up-and-coming wine industry with a luxury tasting tour including stops at several of the Mile High City’s top boutique wineries. Sample locally produced wines, paired with gourmet snacks and an Italian-style lunch. There's no need for a designated driver, as you’ll ride in a luxury Mercedes minivan or SUV.
What to Expect

Meet your guide at one of two pickup locations in downtown Denver for a late-morning start, and climb into a luxury Mercedes SUV or minivan for the ride to your first stop, Balistreri Winery. Get a primer on Colorado’s blossoming wine industry, and learn how the state’s cool, dry mountain air and abundant sunshine make for a prime winemaking climate. Visit the wine cellar for an up-close look at the production process, and taste a generous flight of up to 20 red and white wines, from pinot gris and zinfandel to sweet resiling and muscat.

Along with the wine, indulge in an Italian-style lunch or a gourmet charcuterie platter of artisan cheeses, cured meats, and fruit. When it’s time for more wine, visit one or two other Denver-based wineries such as Mile High Winery, Infinite Monkey Theorem, or Kingman Estates before being dropped off back at the starting point.

Nice way to meet people

This was not an uppity wine tasting, it is very casual and a great way to meet fun folks wanting to try great wine.

Cindi was fantastic. We had a group of 12 girls for a bachelorette and we had the absolute best time. Highly recommend to any wine lovers looking to have a great time.

Great Tour - terrible wine

Our guide Shane was 15 min late. We thought something bad had happened to him since he called 2 hours prior to remind us to be at the pick up at 10:45a. He finally showed up. The tour was great. Included lunch, three wineries and...More
