Get the very best views of Colorado’s natural wonder on a Jeep tour that takes you to the mouth on the Royal Gorge and over the highest suspension bridge in the United States. Get a perspective most visitors miss with exclusive access to the park’s southern entrance, plus a stunning panorama from the top of Fremont Peak. Along the way, dig deeper into the region’s history with sightings of historic graves and dinosaur footprints.
What to Expect
Look down into the breathtaking Royal Gorge as this guided tour takes you over America’s highest suspension bridge. This trip climbs more than 1,500 vertical feet out of historic Cañon City to the south rim of the world famous Royal Gorge.

After admiring the depths of the Gorge as you cross the 18-foot wide, 1,270 foot long bridge almost a thousand feet above the Arkansas River, you will climb another 500 feet to the awe-inspiring views seen from Fremont Peak. From this high point, you will be able to see everything from Pike’s Peak to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains to the Eastern Plains of Colorado. Very few people have been determined enough to hike to this view much less have the option to be driven to it. On our way back down into Cañon City your guide will stop to show you dinosaur tracks left over 107 million years ago. This is a great trip for the whole family.

Your customized open-air jeep is modified with your comfort in mind. Your guides use air bag suspensions to smooth out the ride and thick cushion seats so you can view the spectacular scenery and wildlife that Colorado has to offer without worrying about the rough bumpy ride.

Jeep Tour & Zipline

Learned a lot about Cañon City and the surrounding area while riding in the back of the Jeep. Fortunately, the weather was fairly pleasant but the recent lack of rain made the roads dry. The attendant dust made by the Jeep was more than a...More

Hi Bruce. Thanks very much for jeeping with us and doing the zip line package. It's unfortunate that our guide-in-training wasn't up to speed yet, and the senior guide had to take over the narration on your tour. That's exactly the reason we send new...More

No, we really didn't do much walking at all. You see almost everything from the open-air Jeep.
